Been running some tests with AI-assisted content across a few small projects over the past few months and noticed something worth sharing. Some pages rank and just sit there for months, totally stable. Others shoot up fast and then vanish after the next update. Same content generation method, different outcomes. From what I can tell the difference almost never comes down to how the content was produced. The pages that actually hold their positions tend to have stronger backlink profiles, decent internal linking, and sit on domains that already have some history and authority behind them. AI just speeds up production, that's it. The fundamentals that decided rankings before still decide them now. Anyone else seeing this pattern? Especially curious if it's been more noticeable after the recent updates.
