Why Instagram Always Logs Me Out?

    Hi,

    it's about a few days, but a probably couple of weeks. Back in days when I used to have in the iPhone mobile Instagram app 2 - 4 profiles it all worked perfectly without any issues.

    I guess from the point when IG did some kind of an update it always logs me out from the app even if I log in only with one account. I've tried it with one acc, two, three and even with a four, it's always the same story. When I log in I post stories or classic posts and then I click the home button and do something else with the smartphone. If I try to go in the app a few minutes later I'm already logged out.

    Yes, I have all the accounts in the MassPlanner but they aren't on proxies. So the place where I connect to my IG accs with my phone or with MP is almost the same. It's definitely the same country. In MP there are no problems at all, no red exclamation marks, nothing.

    Does anybody know where is the problem or what can I do for it to bring it back to normal?

    Please try to reinstall Instagram if you think it is a bug.
    Does a white screen appear for one second before you get logged out?

    Maybe your internet provider is switching IP's too frequently and IG thinks it's a expired login? Have you tried on a different connection?

    I'm not sure but those accounts on MP without proxy and with same IP would likely to be flagged by Instagram.....
    Not the time to ban though, but suspicious

    The way Instagram authentication system works utilizes access tokens submitted to the instagram API to validate your requests and give your phone the information.
    If massplanner login with your account again, Instagram may invalidate/deauthenticate your old access token thus logging you out from your phone. Pretty sure massplanner automatically retrives the new access token without asking you.
    So you login with your phone -> Instagram validates your username/password and in return gives your phone the API key (access token it's called in Oauth) -> your phone stores the access token locally
    The access token can then access IG API From any IP, so it's not the IPs fault here.
    What you may consider to check on your phone is if it flush the app data after a set of time or when you stop using instagram as the active app.
    You said the accounts are still live, this means the session gets invalidated either by instagram or on your phone.

    Yeah, the white screen appears everytime even if I reinstalled the app.

    I am also logged in in my desktop PC browser and there's no problem too. Just the iPhone app bothers me. Maybe reset the iPhone settings and delete some datas could help?

    I think that if you are logged in through the MP without any proxy it's the same as you are logged in in your Chrome/Mozilla/Safari, etc. browser on your PC, isn't it? So if you think about it, if you wouldn't have MP and you have just the phone app and browser on your PC, Instagram should log you out from one of these places, but they don't.

    I think it must be either something with the iPhone app or with the Instagram.

    Okay, I got you, but what is the solution there? Reinstalling the app didn't help me. Resetting all settings?

    Like just holding finger on the app and then click the "X" button? Then install it again from the app store? This didn't help me.

    Anyway you're not gonna be able to manage X accounts from a real physical iphone for very long. These are probably already flagged.

    5 accounts is perfectly safe on one device (o.p is running max 4) , infact ig even encourage users by giving that option built in the app. For 5+ accounts he needs to look at other bots though !

    It depends on the kind of activity you're doing. If you're behaving like a normal IG user (e.g. a narcissistic twat) then you probably won't have any issues.

    But if your 3+ accounts are marketing stuff, cloaking out the links and making $ from IG that's a whole different story.

    Yeah, totally agree. The accounts where I am doing that marketing stuff I am running only through the MP on the proxies. What I am talking about are just personal accounts, so there is now cloaking or CPA stuff. There is only liking/following/commenting/unfollowing.

    That's correct. Some times ago I was running 5 accounts in the mobile app and I was boting it manually and there were zero problems. Unless you start doing CPAs or some CB products or boting on a high level, you may be completely okay.

    Guys, thanks for the help. I did must reset the iPhone settings completely, reinstall the app and now it works. Although it cost me a bit of nerves to set all the things back but it was worth it.

    Well that's strange then. I assumed you were doing marketing on these. For personal use, then it may be a mixup of login tokens.

    I know FB pays for bugs found...maybe you found a bug your can report for $ :)

    I only once tried to log in in the app with an account which was doing marketing stuff and from that day never tried it again. Learning from my own mistakes.
