Where to learn about Meta / Google Ads / Retargeting?

I want to learn about online advertising without burning through my money and gifting it to Mark, so what's the best way? Do you have any recommended materials (preferably up-to-date)? Should I just go with top-sold and reviewed Udemy courses, or is there something better?

There is no chance in learning for free. You've got to burn money in order to get more experience. Another option, once you are a bit confident with the ads , would be to put ads for other businesses for free. But you've got to burn money on your own ads because if you have too small ROAS your clients will not want to work with you.

You'll lose more money by looking for free than paying for a good deal to learn.
Pick one from Udemy that has good reviews, pay for it, and start using it as soon as you understand.
If there's something you don't understand, you can ask directly to the course creator.

whatever you do go free through youtube or buy anyone's course. It will be waste you don't try things out practically.
