So far I am using Divi, I'm satisfied with Using it.

I was hoping someone would suggest Divi :) I use it too, and have built a lot of sites with it so far, and it's great for my use. I've not tried any of the others though so can't really give a comparison. Although having read some of the comments on this thread, I may give WP Bakery and/or Elementor a try on my next couple of projects just to see.

I like Elementor for its ease of use, but it's bloated.
The best theme/builder is Ark theme. It's very intuitive to use and blazing fast.

I will just say Elementor though i have not tried others.

It boils down to whatever works for you.

If you have many websites, pick two and see which works long term

Divi is more a developing environment than a "plugin" because of the massive number of companies that build add ins for it. I use it.

You should be using a cache plugin that builds static pages to speedup your website

You should also consider a CDN to instantly deliver your content. Bitmitigate is 100GB free per month. Anything over that is a penny a gigabyte

No pagebuilder should slow you down

Sincerely,

The Eye

I use Divi, but can't recommend it. I'm currently using elementor with different themes, and is going OK for now.

I used to use WP Bakery but moved to Elementor. I like Elementor's template kits quite a lot. I think they're fast and lighter weight than a whole big theme.

Oxygen doesn't do well with themes, you build the themes basically, it's annoying to integrate with a theme
This is a common misconception people have when it comes to Oxygen.

Oxygen is NOT a page builder, it´s a THEME BUILDER!

You don´t need a theme in order to use Oxygen, you build a theme with Oxygen...Big difference!!

In fact, whenever you activate Oxygen any theme you have installed will be disabled by default.

Oxygen is on a league on its own.

It will be the closest you´ll ever be to fully build a custom theme from scratch without having to write a single line of code.

Now, in terms of performance, the comparison is not even close.

With Oxygen, you are not inserting code on top of the theme´s code like with all the other page builders because, as stated above, YOU´RE BUILDING YOUR OWN THEME FROM SCRATCH!

The result? There are no over-bloated sites when using Oxygen. So, performance-wise, it´s the best choice!!

What about pricing?

Well, their most expensive package is $229 and it gives you access to its Agency + Composite Elements. Which is basically Oxygen's own library of pre-made templates, blocks, and sections ready to import, use, and customize.

With the Agency license, you´ll also have access to...
  • Lifetime Unlimited License - This is something no other page builder offers (I think)
  • WooCommerce Integration - Honestly, this worth the price of the package by itself. The potential of this feature is borderline ridiculous.
  • Gutenberg Block Builder - Build your own Gutenberg blocks inside Oxygen, roll out changes sitewide and across other websites. Another feature Oxygen offers is the ability to build websites for clients you can export the site as Gutenberg blocks. Meaning, you can install the theme on your client´s WordPress installation without them needing to have Oxygen install in the first place. Lastly, you can set limitations or permissions based on WordPress users to avoid clients messing with the design too much.
Lastly, Oxygen offers a 7-day free trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee.

The only downside I see with Oxygen is comparison page builders like Elementor is that its learning curve is a lot more steeped. It also requires you to know some basic CSS but, other than that, I am very happy I switched from Elementor to Oxygen.

Cheers and stay safe!

Hello All,

I'm having a hard time choosing between the 4 namely:
DIVI
Oxygen
Beaver Builder
Elementor

What I'm looking for is best for SEO and lightweight - however I don't have much knowledge with CSS

I don't have issues with pricing on these as well.

I just want to know which would work best with:

1. SEO
2. Site Speed

Any in detail recommendation would be most appreciated!

Thanks,
Josh Saga

whatever you can get for free

If the theme needs a page builder, I always go with WP Bakery.
I find that it's pretty light weight and does what I need it to do. Plus i'm pretty use to it aswell.
Elementor has been an excellent choice aswell.

As page speed, all 3 I mentioned haven't been too bad for me even when its graphic heavy pages.

Why the heck would you use a theme with oxygen???
