Want to Buy Content from BHW? Read This First

Who offers the best TAT? Whose articles offer the best value for money? Whose content is the most engaging?

Just over a month ago (39 days to be precise) I set out to test every content BST on BHW. I noted down every single thread in the Content / Copywriting section that had been bumped in the last month and then tested every last one.


The exact brief that I gave the sellers was

Content: "gaming PC" < 500 words on what they are

Altogether there were 44 sellers who matched my criteria. I'm assuming that the cat is well-and-truly out of the bag now, so I doubt I will be able to update this list in the future without the sellers knowing what's going on.

For a comparison, I hired a school-friend of mine to write the start of the article. This is what they came up with. I paid them £5/500 words, which is equivalent to $6.26.

I know that a lot of people who rely heavily on native writers are not native themselves, which is why I paid the same friend to go through the articles and highlight obvious errors in red. Hopefully, that helps.

As you can see, paying more clearly doesn't equate to better content and there are good and bad examples at both ends of the spectrum.

I've learnt a lot from this exercise. Hopefully you have too. It's been a real eye-opener.
