VPS servers hosts on one physical server, which is then divided into several smaller virtual servers.
Cloud hosting instead of having a single server that’s dedicated to your site (as is the case with VPS), the resources are spread out amongst a bunch of different physical machines.

Use vps hosting, they are 100% better than cloud hosting.

If you have a site that is going to require more resources then going cloud may be the better option for you as you will have a bigger pool to upgrade from.
