Snapchat Reverse Engineering - Part 1 - Snapchat Account Creator Bot - API based

So it's that you don't like the way someone is engineering or what?

I can make accounts using javascript or macros and probably people would come and tell me how reverse engineering would be better, but...

I feel like there's a lot of bragging about which way is better. And there's no simple answer to such problems.

This is a hot topic. Snapchat is so in demand rn and there comes a guy with some shaddy sayings and "I can register 2k/day".
People are super desperate for those accounts. Then there are telegram links everywhere. Since i'm in this snap scene myself I can see what's going on here and please don't compare macros to complete re of original app. It's like comparing cycle to a motorbike. There is a big difference.

Regarding him, he could have answered the questions and call it a day. But he started saying, "now snapchat will patch stuff".
Again, good luck to him in fishing.

PS: Done with this thread and OP.

The best way will always be to reverse-engineer and replicate the full app 100% in your own code.
Like that you can do millions of actions per day on a raspberry pi.

Just as information to the "non-professionals" who read this also:

I use several Raspberry Pi "machines" only to control the 5G proxy stuff. The real backend of the Snapchat account creator runs on currently 2 dedicated servers (Linux, Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04 soon).

In case somebody wondered about my replies yesterday regarding the Raspberry Pi.

* Edit:

Then there are telegram links everywhere.

I immediately stopped to post any Telegram link right after BassTrackerBoats asked me to stop. So I follow the rules.

Yeah, probably but it's kind of a show. You can build an SSM panel with that.

What I saw, effects of such actions are usually not very good.

You get 10000 views in 5 minutes but none of that really helps in promotion and people complain "your ssm panel doesn't work" etc.

Yeah, you can make great money selling accounts, views, comments, likes and drive traffic. No doubt about it.

I don't know frankly. I'm here for money and general ideas.

PS: you can make your own thread if you feel more competent / legit. :D

Okay this is very awesome stuff, can I ask what are your plans to do with it once its done ?
Open-source it ?
Sell it ?

There are no current plans to sell it, neither the source code, nor the engine behind.

Maybe Snap Inc. would love to hire me as a remote security consultant. Currently I find new leaks every single week.

But honestly, I work between 18 and 20 hours each day for weeks. I didn't have much time to plan things.

It's one thing to decode the Snapchat logic and rebuild tokens/signatures. But a totally different thing to also create fully automated workflows to keep the Snapchat account lifetime long and all activities enabled (without a real aging). And to manage existing accounts.

Thank you for your feedback.

Snap aren't going to hire someone who hasn't even been able to reverse their custom header or someone who won't provide any proof of it being 'reversed'

it's actually so funny how hard you're trying, genuinely painful to see - you've showed 0 proof of what you claim you're able todo and when questioned you avoid it by saying you aren't paying me

And fyi if you were able to do what you claim todo you wouldn't have to work because you'd be making very good money from this

Would you mind sharing what you do or consume to be able to work for 20 hours?
If I don't sleep for 8 hours every day my brain does not work.

My personal problem is not the missing sleep, since I am totally motivated and looking forward to discover new Snapchat things. My problems are burning eyes, since I have 3 Apple Macs around me (3 x 27 " screens), 1 big status screen mounted at the wall and a lot of LED light.

I drink Espresso in the morning, sugar free energy drinks in the afternoon and no caffeine in the evening to have at least 4 hours of sleep starting around 2:00 AM to 4:00 AM UTC+2

So, no drugs, no medication, just motivation. ;-)

seems interesting to watch
good luck further

Thank you for your feedback, this keeps me motivated.

Can u do other apps like tinder etc

And what about automation of the account once replicated

Can u do other apps like tinder etc

I was into Tinder 2 years ago already.

My old Tinder solution requires an update because they changed a few things. It is/was based on iOS and pure HTTP requests (no phones, no emulators, no browser, no bullsh*t).

Either a Spotify streaming bot (also without phones, emulators etc.) or the upgraded Tinder bot will follow after Snapchat.

And what about automation of the account once replicated

I guess I wrote it above already. Or not? ;-)

I created a solution for logins, story posts (with/without links), Snaps (text messages, images, videos, with/without links), auto responses to incoming Snaps/messages etc. last year already.

Currently I update the "warm up" process of freshly created accounts.

Need Ali info

I'm sorry @404nutritious but what do you mean?

I work on a 15,6" laptop in different places of a room. I don't know why people still use desktops, maybe for power.

And why are you making all this stuff up like people around say? (joke)

I can't imagine this hassle. Finding so many technical terms just to pretend. :weep: (joke)

Well, I think it's time to start doing notes from this. We'll know who is the king then.

You need a king like "tab is 4 spaces" - Terry Davis.

I believe he is 40 something years old.

And it may change something.

I am still growing up as 25 year old, probably will grow up to 30 - 35, then I'll not need that much sleep.

So someone buys MacOS, codes console, buys Jr Vip just to post some lies.

Lucky.sparks doesn't share code publicly too. I have validated if it's true what Lucky.sparks said cause I was suspicious as well.
He sent me a bunch of code and money as a result of networking...

Go and talk to those people in private instead of making public scenes.

---

Btw here's a thought... people give 50 likes under AI generated garbage like "post content and links" and here the OP has 10 likes. What the hell do we do about that stuff...

PS: people who work a lot choose espresso over other coffee cause less water in coffee gives you more power.
I have tested a number of preworkouts and ways of drinking coffee and I can say that the espresso information is true.

Especially if you drink coffee in the morning, if you drink a lot of water in the morning with caffeine, it's gonna suck.

And I believe a lot of information here is true as well.

For example, use MacOS and iOS. This tip is worth I don't know. $5000? Because it's something you rarely see. People who do things on android would pay a lot for this discovery.

I don't want to list my complete hardware/server setup here. ;-)

Of course I use a MacBook Pro (so notebook) also, but only for things outside or standing in front of the servers. I totally separate my private area (sleeping room, living room), so I don't use any notebook or tablet e. g. when I have to sleep.

I need several 27 " displays, because I usually have 2 browsers with each tabs open, also minimum 4 and up to 12 SSH (terminal) windows.

Some SSH windows show continuously scrolling log files, some are used for live coding at Intranet servers.

I guess if Apple would offer the 32 " Pro Display XDR for a reasonable price (not almost 7600 Euro) then I would switch to 32 " also. https://www.apple.com/pro-display-xdr/

(cut)

Back to the original topic:

Currently some more freshly created Snapchat accounts (created at the same day) are running test cases with friend adds and accepts of incoming requests, also Snaps with links.

It seems, if the account quality is high enough, you don't need "aged" accounts anymore.

I will update the journey thread as soon as possible.

This was covered some times, not many times. Yeah, people should know activity and history is more important than aging.

Aging and doing nothing is not natural. Natural thing is to be 16 year old and chat 2 hours a day with network of friends and login daily.

On Google they're always suspicious with this pattern of logging out for a month. They ask to reverify after inactivity.

1600 nits of brightness

That's what I'm talking about...

Thank you for the link.

I have been told by 3 different people that "aged" accounts (several years old) are mostly phished or hacked. And that's one thing I don't support at all.

It's one thing if you break the Snap Inc. ToS by using their private API. But another if you cause a damage by phishing or hacking, that's not my world.

Thanks for sharing this, very interesting read.

Kind of curious, is reverse engineering APIs to this level the kind of thing that requires a decade of coding experience and talent?

Well in my case it's almost a decade, but I don't do the "real" reverse engineering (so IDA Pro, Ghidra, Assembler) every day.

I started coding in C++ with 14, but there was a long time no professional use case. But once you found your own syntax (in your mind) it's possible to code in PHP, Java, Swift etc. also.

I created a large C++ framework starting in 2016 for daily server matters, so the classic contra "C++ requires too much typing" is not true in my case.

Small update (June 18th, 2024, evening):

We're just preparing a new test case, the Snapchat account creation method has been modified 1 1/2 days ago. Yesterday some real life tests started at Tinder. That's no big secret, because I know from Telegram that most of you earn your money with dating and OFM traffic.

The next part of the account creator workflow will follow soon: Boosting the Snapchat scores automatically to a specific value.

But that's more another part of the "warm up" section.

I created a large C++ framework starting in 2016 for daily server matters, so the classic contra "C++ requires too much typing" is not true in my case.
I opened c++ projects 3 times in last 6 months due to it having almost everything a programming language can have, and what next...

I see there's a lot of projects based on qt6 framework.

What typing they speak about... You can just learn to be efficient with it.

If you build your stack in a wrong way or use AI instead of reading docs, you're in coding hell and anything will be hard to understand and debug. Learn language first, not prompting and frameworks.

Alright. I guess someone who wants to write a program won't think angular or react or some express are what they need. None of that matters. You need something like C++ or typescript in node.js or C#.

C# is a little bit stricter than node.js. It's still not C++, far away from it. I think it doesn't make sense to code in C# these days. I coded one project. I learned something but that's it. My journey with this language probably won't be long as it doesn't offer exactly what C++ does. You can write programs without bindings. All languages bind to c++ and for some stuff it's just worth to learn C family.

It shouldn't be a problem for someone aiming to build a journey over 10 years. If someone sets a goal like "make $100 a day", they're gonna need maybe few videos on YouTube, not c++. If you want more, well, this language would be useful.

Especially that it gives you a lot understanding of how a compiled language works and what's happening under the hood in other languages.

A lot of so called engineers are just frameworkers who never took their time to study the language thoroughly. And there's one problem. If you don't understand the language your language is based on, you're not really understanding it.

This mindset of "doing it for money" and not for yourself, and passion of building is what creates a bad image of software engineering. All those modern frameworks, especially front end, it's like negation of real engineering.

When you speak to someone coding some react or vue, it's like they don't even know what is programming. They're realistically good at css and writing DOM updates using some weird concepts of those frameworks.

These concepts are hard to find in different branches, so it's complicated and you don't get much done even though your frontend logic is complicated as hell.

C++ is complicated too but the value of it exceeds any JavaScript framework or library.

Simply put, if you don't understand what you're doing, you're gonna have problems sooner or later. Someone is gonna notice and take advantage of that or you will get stuck having problems going further than coding UIs making another "how to make $5 a day" thread.

Thank you for your detailed review and telling us more about your background @reaaski

There is one more advantage of C++ I also like: C++ is native code, it can't be decompiled like C#, .Net, Java, ..

So the typical customer would need a disassembler and knowledge how to use it if he wants to inspect the things I installed at his Internet server. ;-)

Current example:

I coded a custom bot for somebody earlier this year (3 months of work). I installed backend and frontend, both coded in C++, at the Hetzner servers for the customer to play around and study the prototype.

Suddenly both servers were offline and the customer vanished. I didn't receive any payment.

But I still have a good feeling, since the customer can't look into my code that easily.
