SEO help for pages?

I have 1-year-old website with 10K pages. Around 300 referring domains all contextual, good diversity etc. I am in the top 10 for the main keywords but my pages are not ranking very well. They stuck from 20-40 positions. Any advice?

add more content on the pages ranking 10-20 and then point some guest posts / PBN backlinks at each one of them, then wait for a week or 2. If nothing improves throw more backlinks and if still nothing improves then the competition for those keywords is atrocious, despite of what any keyword researching tool tells you.

In february 2020 I built a website around 10 "easy" keywords and 4 "hard" keywords (according to the keyword tool I was using at that time), and none of those keywords ranked even in top 100 and after 2-3 months I got pissed off and I built backlinks to that website and then, within a week 2 of the "hard" keywords got in top 100, while the easy keywords are still nowhere to be seen even today.

So, ignore all metrics cause they've become more and more bogus over the last years, and only focus on quality content + backlinks. Plus low competition keywords, obviously, but the low competition should be figured out manually cause nothing beats the human brain, no matter how hard google is trying to replace it with an artificial one

And don't forget internal links.
