ScrapeBox And Google?

Hey guys

I am looking to scrape google results with scrapebox and would like to know what it the situation, I am looking to buy some proxies to it.

I got a new product I am looking to market and looking to get in contact with local businesses. Is using scrapebox to scrape the google results a good idea?

Im not sure what the question is, but if you want to scrape results, google or bing is the way to go. Bing is more lenient on ip bans, google sometimes give more accurate or greater volume of results.

so yes, using scrapebox to scrape the results is a good idea. You can use public proxies, private proxies or backconnect/rotating proxies, like mentioned above.

If your looking to use public proxies, then its pretty self explanatory

I never scraped google before so I am pretty new to this. To cut costs I think I will be using public proxies.
What benefits is there in using any other proxy over public proxies for google?

And is it better to scrape the google api over google search results?

I've tried public proxies in the past and... it's not worth it: It takes much longer, you continuously get errors and things like that.

I would recommend paying a few bucks a month and use a few private proxies or even semi-private proxies.

There are great proxy providers here in the BHW Marketplace. I've personally tried SquidProxies and StormProxies, both are great options.

The advantage of paid proxies over public is Time.

When you pay, you don't have to constantly scrape and filter proxies.

If I was new, I would use public proxies though, you learn along the way and save dollars. But a few bucks gets you a few private proxies, its slow but it saves time on public proxies.

So its a trade off. You can use no proxies and scrape google fine, you just need huge delays, so it depends on your needs. I routinely scrape google with no proxies when I don't need huge scrapes.

I have many servers running around the clock with scrapebox running, so it just depends on your needs.

Try it all, see what works best, but just do something, I mean like today try out public proxies and see how it goes.

Because in a week if you just try out no proxies with huge delay and public proxies, you will know if it works for you, and if so then great, if not try paying for some proxies. Action is my point here, theory is nice, but there are too many variables for us to know, in a case like this, what will work best.

haha, time look like back to 2011-2012, scrapebox is 100% good for google but only for URLs...
about the proxies,
1. public proxies (scape proxies on SB) is slow and take time
2. private proxies are good for small projects.
3. rotating proxies are the best choice for business!
