[Q] is tag spamming hit an algorithm on YouTube?

My question is Placing excessive tags in the video description (“tag stuffing”) is it new to get views on youtube? Even youtube algorythm is promoting those tag spam video everywhere.

Dont you think it's a good way to get maximum views in 2020. use tag spamming for 24 hours and remove it after that.

I just saw a video on yt, & its description is full of tag spamming.

For example
Look at her description box of rice making video (full of tag spamming)

tag stuffing will only hurt your video because it screws up the videos metadata, thus making it more difficult for the algorithm to know where to recommend and suggest your video. I would only work with 5-7 tags at the most, each being really relevant to your video, having high search volume with medium to low competition.

Usually, youtube punishes your account. I wouldn't suggest it. It used to work back in the 2013 or 2014.

Agree!! But some youtubers are doing it still.. my idea is can we tag spam description for 24 hours. Later on remove all tag. Is it viable ?

I think you are right..but i will keep an eye on her youtube video for more updates.

Still now she has 132 views with 6 comment

I will update more later

not much views to make any judgement. probably from her own subscribers as she has 1.17k subs. you can use keywords in description but don't make it so spammy & obvious
