Hi everybody.

Here's another poll. I suppose it doesn't matter if somebody considers it stupid on not. I guess many guys&gals may find poll's results and comments interesting for them.

OK. Here are conditions of the problem.
Let's say you have stolen some content from a big web company (such as... well... AC... or suite101). The content that this company has full rights for and it clearly warns you that you shouldn't use or copy-paste it if you didn't pay for it.

But you f**ked them, took their content and published it on your AC/Hubpages/Squidoo/your blog. And they found out that you did it.

The question is: What are consequences for you?

You'll most likely just get a DMCA. If they're in a bad mood and you're costing them money, they might also sue you, but that's fairly rare.
 
DUde seriously whats with this poll thingys u are doing. If you want to do something or learn something search the forum. The opinions differ alot..

Why should everyone serf through all those 1000s of threads to find out the collective answer to one simple question thus wasting a lot of time.

Dude, seriously, if everyone were you, we all would still not drive cars but ride horses and cook not in mircowave ovens but on open fire.

This poll raises question and grabs collective answer. It's convenient, it's easy to find answer here based on statistics - so we all make added value here in this thread thus helping the community.

You've been here five minutes and you're telling us how the board should run?
all the poll gives you is a collection of opinions. It's a waist of time because
half the members on here won't even waste their time clicking it. There are
hundreds of threads on this board regarding content. If you want the answer
to your question search for it and only then if you don't find your answer
start a thread.

The whole point is you will never get a straight answer till you learn something and apply it. Like i said opinions differ. It is better to learn something from the ground up when you do not know the answer for the question you are asking
 
Anyone can steal the content lol... but there are plugins that can make them unique content without doing anything :D and you wont be harassed by a big company cause its practically new content afterwards

You will get threats one of two times, But somebody hardly takes action, Just twist some words of content, nothing will go serious.
 
even if they choose to come after you for stealing content why not just spin the content and no need to have any concern about it, i rather worry about more important things like how to make money with that content ;)

Don't think you would get your ass fucked for content stealing, if you did well then you won't do that again, lol, unless you happen to enjoy it. Bit extreme on the company's behalf but whatever stops people from stealin well then it's a good punishment.
