Announcement

Q&A Grabber v2.0 is ready (enough) for release!

However, since this is an all-new rebuild, I anticipate some users will encounter some hiccups--I've done a lot of testing on a few different machines, but there are a lot of variables I can't account for without feedback.

Because of this, I'm going to roll it out in batches of 20-30 users per day over this week, and then open it up for all once it looks like the process is going smoothly. This is just so I don't get hammered with dozens of support tickets in a short time-frame.

I'll be sending out the access info by most recent uses - so if you've used the software recently you'll be in an earlier batch.

However, I don't want anyone who's been waiting to be delayed any longer, so just drop a comment below, along the lines of:

"Fast track me!"

And I'll follow up via PM to make sure you're in. Either way, everyone will have v2.0 by the end of this week or so.

Known Issues

There are a few known quirks (nothing major that should prohibit use), so I'll be working on polishing them out a bit more starting tomorrow for v2.1 - and I'll be incorporating any necessary fixes for those who hit any issues I haven't encountered during my tests.

While the software is Mac & Linux compatible, I need to make a few adjustments to have them working fully, so that'll be polished out more in the next quick releases.

I was hoping to start the roll-out today (or yesterday), but it's now 2:30am and I've been making some small adjustments throughout the day and am just now wrapping up, so I'll begin the roll out process tomorrow - likely in the early evening (Central Time, U.S.), as that's when I'll have most time to provide realtime assistance (as needed).

Thank you to everyone for your patience, I know this is way past due. It has taken a lot more work than anticipated, and there will likely be a few growing pains as we transition to 2.0 (for example, I don't like the current auto-update process so that'll be changing in the next release or two), but I have a lot of exciting features to add - I'll be publishing a roadmap and taking feature requests (on top of what has already been requested/planned) to build this out and add some twists and power.

The price will remain the same during this roll out, but once v2.1 is done with some new features added and any outstanding bugs hammered out, I'll be going through the process to update the thread and increase the price to $97 for lifetime (which will still be a steal for what's planned) - so if you haven't grabbed a copy you might want to lock in the current discounted price (just request a coupon below and I'll get you taken care of).

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to rolling this out to everyone over the next week or so.

Following up with previous comments:

It does not have translation, but I've added that as a request, should be pretty easy with any services that offer API integration. URL logging is on the list for v2.1 as well, coming very soon.

Wow, thank you for the kind words! I hope that v2 will exceed your expectations - lots of stuff planned for the very near future now that the hard part is finally done!

Thank you for your interest and purchase! Please let me know if you have any questions or issues and I'll follow up asap.
What do you mean by URL logging? I was referring to if the tool could link to the source URL with a clickable link of each FAQ answer with a URL anchor, at the end of the answer.

Thanks for your reply. Idk if it’s because I have newbie status (?) but I can’t reply to your PM…

Cool. I guess it would create a lot of topical relevance by having external links to each source. But this would be optional to include or not before output obviously?

I answered via PM but wanted to answer in public as well - correct, including URLs in the various export outputs will be optional.

any date for the new version and price? PM Me please

It's rolling out now! Working on some fixes for spinning and adding a few new features to push v2.1 here shortly.

Hi X! Please send a lifetime discount code. Thanks

Interested for a lifetime discount. Thank you.

So far based on feedback it looks like only one real bug in v2, which is spinning - so once that's tweaked everything should be good to go. Will continue rolling out batches of v2 access this evening.

Been making progress on the spinning issues, will be pushing that fix and some new features from user requests live asap, and get cross-platform support wrapped up - thanks for your patience!

waiting for the "combine into one file" and "xlsx support" two feature.
CSV files have mass gibberish characters output which is annoying and I have to combine all those files manually to filter duplicates.

These two new features can save lots of time.

Thanks for the feedback! Combine scrape results functionality is complete, and I've fixed encoding for CSV files (thanks for reporting that, I hadn't caught that issue). Testing XLSX tonight, will be pushing the update to add those features/fixes in shortly.

Is the lifetime deal still available? Would love a lifetime coupon.

I’m interested, pm please I got couple of questions

The v2 roll out has gone smoother than expected, still a few bugs to polish out, but so far no major issues. Made some fixes over the past few days, and am working on a few more small batches of changes.

Version 2.1 is Live on the Server - Here's a Changelog:

V2.1:

- New: Option to merge/combine results into one file during bulk scrapes
- New: XLSX Output Format
- Improved: Renamed JSON-HTML to Microdata to be more accurate
- Bug Fix: Spin Rewriter Integration
- Bug Fix: Proper escaping of quotation marks ( " ) in JSON-LD exports
- Bug Fix: Better HTML encoding for HTML + Microdata exports
- Bug Fix: More UTF-8 characters allowed for file names (when bulk scraping/saving)
- Bug Fix: Proper encoding for CSV outputs
- Bug Fix: Open File after single scrape export now supports spaces in path name

Please download it from the same link as you downloaded v2.0 from.

I'm working on incremental updates this weekend and next week to push 2.1.1, 2.1.2, etc. with the following fixes, to bring it to v2.2 and v2.3 asap:
  • Fixing WordAi Integration
  • Fixing quirk with merge XLSX, or saving XLSX file w/ same name as open file
  • Option to Append Date/Time to Filenames during save
  • Saving bulk results lists to temporary files in case of crash
  • CSV & XLSX Output: Column Options - Seed Phrase & URL
  • Text & HTML Output: Option to include Source URLs
  • Remove keywords when processed from bulk phrase list
  • Custom Export Formats
  • Multiple Export Formats per scrape (instead of just 2 max)
  • Option to save both spun and unspun versions of results during scrape
  • Image URL Field for Bulk Export
  • Proxy Support
  • Finish macOS & Linux Support
  • Fix auto-update & Prevent having to re-enter license after install
Once the above are implemented (shouldn't be long) I'll be submitting an update request to the mods and going through the process to update the thread w/ new info and new price ($97 lifetime), and I'll be adding some powerful new features to be announced soon.

Should be sending out the last few batches of v2 access over the next few days, if you're still waiting and want to jump the line just comment "fast track me" below - and if you want to get in on the current (lowest) price, please request a discount below and I'll follow up asap.

Thanks!

I purchased this yesterday. X provides exceptional and fast customer service. I ran into an issue with the license email not being received and he was very responsive. I was able to get set up quickly because of that. Thank you.

The product is very good. It does everything I expected of it.

One thing I wasn’t able to find is where to enter proxies to avoid getting my IP banned by google when scraping with massive word lists.. Is it possible to rotate through proxies with this?
