New Update Instagram

Yes, it looks like Instagram lowered the limits again for API-based solutions.

You can still get more than 60–70 in some cases, but definitely not the ~200 we were seeing before. Right now, it seems to be around the 60–70 range for many API solutions, sometimes 100+.

With phone farms, we can still reach around 100–120 follows per day.

IMO, phone farms are going to be the better long-term solution compared to API-based setups, especially with Instagram constantly changing these limits. The downside is simply that they're more expensive to operate.

Hey, what about scrappers? The extension I used is completely busted and dev is gaslighting people saying it works which tons of feedbacks indicated it doesn't with new API.

Any recs for plugns or web-based SMM?

Instagram has heavily shifted focus from public likes/comments to "Sends per Reach" (DM shares). The algorithm favors Reels that people actively share with their friends via DM over content that just gets passive likes. If you want reach under the new update, craft content that sparks relatable reactions or provides saveable/shareable utility.

Thanks. It's funny I actually stumbled on your videos a few times. But I don't just mean to scrape creators followers/unfollowing but your own accounts that may or may not be creators/verified. I need exact tracking to track followers history but the new API has scrambled most of the plugins and extensions I know and am searching for solutions ASAP.

Yeah they have probably tracked OP's accounts. I don't see any difference on IG as well.
 
I haven't noticed any update like this. However, I've experienced something similar before. previously, my Instagram account wouldn't let me follow more than 50–60 people. It might just be a glitch and could be fixed on its own.
