I'll start by saying I'm relatively new to using bots on social media however I've always had a fascination with automation, I've tested a few bots over the past 6 months and not had much success, my accounts seem to grow pretty slowly even though I am posting what I believe to be quality content for my niches.

I had to stop my bot for a few months due to moving apartment and I've finally get back into it but my bot (FollowLiker) has been doing pretty bad, low amounts of follow backs and low conversions overall, the only positive I have got from it is the scheduled posts which is great, I do get a decent amount of likes I think (I currently have 860 followers and I average 90-100 likes a post) I have no idea?

I've seen a lot of people saying that FollowLiker isn't doing well right now and there are better bots out there, such as GMT2 and Jarvee, however I actually haven't seen anyone list the reasons why these bots are better, I've just got my self the Jarvee trial and it seems to be giving me more follow backs than FollowLiker but I have no idea if my settings are efficient.

I'm looking for any advice anyone can give me, please don't just suggest a bot without at least giving some kind of reason or personal experience, because you can see that all over the forum and I'll be honest it's kind of frustrating, I'm really wanting to get some knowledge and help, I have two questions but feel free to give any advice please, I need it. :)

  • 1) Which bot would you suggest would be best for an 6 month old Instagram account with 800 followers and why? (I'm just trying to gain the most amount of followers I possibly can, effeciently. I don't have any intentions to get money from my accounts at this point)

  • 2) If I use Jarvee for Following/Unfollowing/Liking, is there a way to schedule photos with personal descriptions including hashtags? and if so, could anyone please guide me on how to do it either on this post or over PM. What would happen if I used Jarvee for Follow/Unfollow/Like but also ran FollowLiker on the same account for posting photos, would it mess everything up?

ps;
Sorry for my bad English it's not my native language, thanks.

Thank you! and it's good to see others wanting to know the same thing.

So I've been running Jarvee on one of my accounts today and I've noticed a huge boost in follow backs, I've also figured out how the syntax spin works for posting scheduled photos so that's no longer a problem, in my honest opinion I believe Jarvee is a better option over FollowLiker, however it costs more, I think I'll buy the monthly subscription and test more accounts, still looking for better settings and more knowledge if anyone can help, tips and tricks for more efficiency.

Regarding your concern, bot is just bot! The problem is some bot has issue with their functions and not stable. It could lead to actions less or not following the setting well.
Beside, there is nothing related with bot that cause your account to have less follow back or engagement. For example, you have 3 bots, you have the same sources. They do scrape and follow from the sources 800 follows per day the same. The issue is some bots not scrape well and follow not also well that cause less follows.

It's about your account quality content and source quality.

Anyways, it's good that you could figure out your concern with Jarvee. I added to the suggestion also with Jarvee, too. You can do most the thing with them as you could with normal pc or phone.

can we run multiple bots from multiple vendor at same time?

Just running 1 account on bot and mobile on the same time is already risky not to even talk about running on different bots at the same time.

Thank you, that makes sense and I understand about the account quality content and source, also aging of the account.

I've used paid bots before but recently switched over to using the free instabot (python script). It works just as well as the paid bot I was using (instaeasy) but admittedly does not have as many options to configure, so is slightly less flexible in that sense.
However, it's free and I'm no longer paying monthly fees!

I actually started off using python scripts because they are free and they do the basics which is great but I wanted to scale up in the future and they just simply don't offer the amount of features paid bots do, I could attempt to learn python and build my own or even pay someone to do it but that's time I don't have spare, but thank you for the advice, it's much appreciated!

No worries. I also find that instabot tends to evolve quite rapidly, and there are always little experimental branches where clever people have developed new functions.
I keep promising myself I'll teach myself python one day...
