You mentionned that you're using different pen names for each niche. If/when you decide to promote your books on Facebook, will/do you promote them under the same FB account? If yes, will it be your personal account?

yes we use different pen names, for each genre , and try to build up a following for each one.
as for marketing, I don't think these days you can just sit back and let amazon sell it for you, too many people trying to sell the same thing, you need to spend at least and hour in the morning and one in the evening getting on forums posting on twitter etc being pro active is the key.

Are you doing just none fiction books or fiction as well , we do none fiction and fiction from erotica to how to save money

Hi Jarry, I think I am just going to use my own personal facebook account. Most of the people on those groups are authors so I think they all understand that most people use pen names anyways. I could be completely wrong though haha, I am still new to this whole Kindle thing. I will be sure to let you guys know how that goes.

Hi Moimm, 2 sales per week per book isn't terrible if you have a ton of book! I am just using all the free sites over at Author Marketing Club. Not too happy with the amount of downloads I am getting though, each book gets about 400-500 downloads by the end of the five days.

Interesting, if that much promotion is required for each book I can see why you are switching over to longer/higher quality books instead of a bunch of smaller books.

These are all non-fiction. I have heard great things about fiction but I am not that great at writing fiction

Hi Jaks. I have about 5 sites going right now but a good 60-70% of it comes from one site. I would highly recommend focusing on an Authority site over those little 5 page micro sites.

I only had two out of my 7 books not going free this week which is why I had the drop in sales. I have been having my books go free five days in a row but I am going to switch it up to having them go free once every 7-10 days and see if that makes it better.

I have a total of 7 books out there right now so I am going to try my best to get 3 books out this coming week to make it an even 10.

I agree, I am a HUGE fan of taking time out of your day to do your own research and learn. But having all the knowledge in the world won't help you if no action is being taken. I don't know a whole lot about Kindle marketing right now, but I know if I can eventually reach 100 books, I can start to test things and figure out what does and does not work. I am a believer in learning as I go because if I try to learn everything before I get started I know I will never get started because there is always going to be something new to learn.

With all that said, SoundCloud thank you for taking the time to write all that out. It sounds like you already have enough knowledge to get started so I would encourage you to start writing and join me on this challenge!

AK Elite, Kindle Promo App, e.t.c..)
There has to Be Promotional Momentum, on the First Day of Publishing eBook, There Has to Be Flood of Promotion over Social Media, Forum's, Book Related Promo Websites, YOU HAVE TO GET AT LEAST 5 - High 5 Star Reviews from Top Reviewer's, There has to be Flood all over Internet, Amazon promotion will Not Cut it Alone, This is Imperative !!!

You could say that I'm Kinda Guru for Kindle Promotion, and a Newbie for Writing eBook's LOL, isn't that Wierd or what !!!

I will join your challenge in 4 week's time - your 6th or 7th week counting from now, because I'm in process of making my own flipchart/blueprint of success - what I did is; Sticked B1 Format Paper on My wall, started adding Sticker Notes on "Attack Plan", it's A lot of Fun, and A lot of Happiness To actually Visualise, Identified Obstacles and Self Provided Solutions, and Start Sh*ting Book After Book, After Book..
Uh Getting near to those first 100.000 sales ..

Mean While I'm Earning some decent money over Fiverr to pay bills, just as showcase to my self that Online Profit's are Possible, with out this income I would of been forced to look daily job, and my Kindle research would be in halt !

Use KD Niche Finder, you might first wanna watch some of the explanatory videos over youtube first
That's all you need.
You Might wanna look more into long tail keyword's*, tags* - for possible low competition niches..
START FROM HERE, AND DIG YOUR WAY TROUGH !!!
