Making Money with Youtube w/o creating Unique Content?

text videos are highly unsuccessful from my experience.. i use to do them exclusively on a specific youtube channel.. they received very little to no views... so i decided to start downloading others videos and reuploading and my views positively changed for sure

So what kind of videos did you download? All from other youtubers I assume? How did you monetize?

It's definitely possible to make a passive income with the methods. One major thing you need to be careful with is wasting efforts ranking quantity. It'd be hard to make a passive income if you are continuously making churn and burn videos.

When you say wasting efforts ranking quantity- does that mean focus on ranking a smaller number of videos or focus on uploading as many videos as possible without spending significant time on any of them?

In short

quality content >> slideshows with still images and music > scraped content >> text videos

Thank you for the easy to see comparison, however I am not familiar with what scraped content is? Is that when you download someone else's video and re-upload?

Look, what everyone's saying is, making your own unique content(even if it's been done before just in a different way) is FAR better for earning longterm steady income.
Rather than making videos that grab someones attention once, but they realize it sucks so they never come back again.

Be very creative, write millions of things down that pop in your head for great ideas, I know you can come up with creative things. You'll only make chump change AND waste too much time ripping other peoples stuff because you'll have to do it everyday.
From experience, people love tutorials especially because you can rank them easily, since they're niche related. But you do that math, cheap content = people can sense it.

Thank you for the advice, is this what BlackHatters are doing though? I came to this forum looking for methods of money making without having to necessarily do what you have said, even though it is obviously good advice. I mean, isn't BlackHat all about taking "cheap content" and turning it into something that turns a profit? I may be misled, but I'm just looking for an honest answer- so tell it to me straight. And, I'm not lazy or anything. I don't expect to make money for doing nothing. Just want to get the facts straight in my mind.

haha that's a good one ,guys i've been looking for a keyword tool for google i have seen here before by healerz , but is there an effective keyword tool for youtube out there that still works

Who and what are you talking about?

It depends on what you're marketing. If you are selling affiliate products, it's best to make an original video. If you're doing PPD and your niche is free stuff/hacks/games, you can do this, but you have to be careful not to get your video flagged by the competition.

It's always best to make an original video to be sure. You can have one made on fiverr or there are also great tools to make videos easily, such as Animoto.

I've been trying to make it with both affiliate and PPD. For the affiliate I have been using the CC vids and for the PPD I have been using other peoples stuff. I only monetize the CC vids though since it is against the rules to monetize a vid you don't own. So far, I think I am operating in line with Youtube's terms of service.

Really, the only thing that disappoints me is that I've made very little money after putting in a lot of work. So far I have 0 downloads and the same amount of ebook sales through clickbank.

The only thing I have done to make money is my adfly links which have generated just shy of 5 cents.

Depressing earnings to say the least.

Your story is not one of rarity. No one will give you their "complete" method/secret of success, but trust me when I say this, reading other successful peoples methods(no matter how vague) can be all that is needed to spark fantastic ideas. That's what I'm doing.

Being smart with your time would mean, taking a chunk out of your schedule to write down keywords that come to mind, niches you think have potential(could be tv shows) Then researching each one on Googles Adword keyword tool for an estimate on how popular those keywords are, competition and so on. No one can spoon-feed you success because no one here was spoonfed either. We made it by failing a ton of times.

One thing my good friend, blackhat is not something associated with cheap meaningless content for quick cash. We simply sell the same things everyone else does...we just have promotional "advantages".

Well you're going for the easy way out. But in most cases this is not the most reliable source of working. you might get hits in the start but eventually it's going to go down for you. Another tactic i've seen people use is to upload fake crack or hack method videos. You can simply download existing and upload them with different thumbs but again this is not as good as creating unique content

I understand no one is going to give me their methods- that's not what I'm asking for. I have however been reading other's methods and attempting them or variations of them. I guess I am doing the fail part and I kind of am just hoping eventually I figure out how to make some money. Thanks for your take on my question- it's good to know what other people think of what I'm doing. All I can do is keep trying.

I just started trying the hacks thing using a few games I play so I can verify the hacks actually work. So far, no hits, but I chose not to go with the fake hacks/cheats because I'm trying to create a long term income stream, not something that will be hit and run. Thank you though.
