Main domain and cold email domain under the same Google Admin/Workspace

I am reaching out to old leads from my marketing teams past marketing efforts. This lead gen was pre pandemic and under a different name to my company. We have been calling them up to get them to optin (only 3% say no, moved on bla bla) but it’s too time consuming and expensive.

I am going cold outreach with a new domain & slow personal mails and then move them to my domain at the right time.


I have been advised to add this new cold email domain to my current Google workspace that houses my main domain.

1. Will this effect my main domain if the cold outreach domain gets blacklisted.

2. Will they share the same IP’s?

3. Can I add multiple cold email domains in this same admin account even if the old ones get blacklisted?


Surely Google will know my main domain is associated with blacklisted outreach domains if they housed together and it goes sour. Or is this irrelevant? Just seems that this would likely be a way they would keep ontop of stuff.

Desperate to get this set up tonight to start warming emails for start of January outreach.

Hey Bud,

Yeah through hunting the forum and receiving help from a very insightful guy, and various google support tickets.

I have learnt, that a new domain in google workspace is fine, but it must be a separate domain (secondary) and be an alias.
An alias after loads of checks I run still links, and the person here that helped also said this would be expected.

Google actually said it would cause no issues, but it definitely will!

So add a new domain, and pay for the extra seat (this user will have their own log in).
