I just made a highly customized blogger blog (it looks like it's a wordpress blog) and in my first 25 hours I broke over 4,000+ pageviews. Most of it was Reddit traffic so I only made $1.38 on adsense.
I have some mylikes ads on the site and those generated about $0.40 in total so I rounded it out to $2.
I'm not sure where I should go from here. I'm getting between 20 - 40 likes on facebook but the traffic is shit. I generated some comments from the the reddit post. I want to capitalize on Reddit but $2 isn't really motivating me. Even if I scale it and attempt to work on 10 blogs, that's a lot of work for $20. Keep in mind I'm writing high quality posts. When I say high quality I mean high quality, I've blogged for a site that get's 1M uniques monthly and I had a few articles go viral on stumble upon.
I'm wondering if my RPM is going to go up, because attempting to bank on clicks when you're working with Reddit is a joke. I did notice that with my facebook marketing the CTR was high, but the amount of work that goes into that doesn't add up.
If I had money I could really figure out how to market the crap out of the blog but I'm interested in some guerilla style ways that I can increase my viewership. If there's one thing I learned about the web it's that content is King and placement is Queen and without both you'll never find a kingdom.
Edit: I forgot to mention that even though I have 5,000 page views my Adsesne is only reporting a little over 1,000.
