Thanks! It's not big deal man. I know there's a ton of people that regurgitate the same facts about writing great articles but, if you take the time to write out an article and target it it's going to go viral (5,000k+ views). The only issue at the beginning is that all of your articles rely on that factor until you establish an audience. Also when you are working with Reddit money is minimal.

I'd really like to start multiple blogs but I'm not sure if it's enough money to sit there and work on 10 blogs. I wanted to make $10 on each daily. $100 a day sounds awesome, $10 a day is not so much. Maybe I should move to the Philippines. lol

It would help if we knew what you wrote about, but even though it's just 2 bucks that really good start. I personally like mlm programs...but most on this site are affiliate marketers, either way depending on what the content is find a mlm program or affiliate program and put either up and you will make more money then what Google Ads will pay.
 
Right on! Man, I wish I knew what your blog is about, out of curiosity! I've been cranking away on my blog as I have time for the past few weeks and I only got 120 visits this week LOL.

And you're using blogger, thats awesome..I may pick up a blogger account and work on a side project and tinker with IM without spending extra cash just yet

Really how so? Because I stopped working on it. I want to start back up but I desperately need some cash. It's expensive living in NYC.

Reddit average income is between 30,000 - 50,000 and they are quite internet savvy, I'd guess the ad block adoption rate would be much higher than the general public. Also whats the CPC of your niche? If its quite low that would also explain the low earnings. That they aren't clicking on your ads is not a reflection of the quality of your writing, just that the offer wasn't inducing enough for them to click on it.

Interesting. I haven't selected a niche as of yet. It says my cpc was $0.40 which explains why it was so low. I mentioned yoyo's in one of my articles and it seemed like all of my ads were centered around that. I'm looking at a list of keywords for this year. It says that the software niche has a top CPS of $35+. I've always heard people say 'select is niche.' I always assumed it was because it made it easier to target your audience but now I see that it also helps with maximizing income.

I haven't wrote anything lately because I've been focusing on getting new clients for my social media marketing company but I will sit down soon and work on some new keywords.


Edit: So it's been a while since I've checked the ranking of any of my pages and wow! Apparently it can take some time for Google to index you. I'm am now on the 1st and 2nd pages for keywords that I targeted and although it's a small victory it has given me some encouragement to continue on.

I haven't been blogging lately but I recently made an article about a teen celebrities facebook account being hacked and I got some leverage.

I bought in about 900+ views from twitter and reddit and made about $0.02. This is both good and bad news for me.

The good news is that I know I can bring traffic (this is not really news to me, I've always been able to do that) and I can write a lot of articles and therefore increase my traffic by scaling. If I write 100 articles in a month that get 900 views that's 90,000 views.

The bad news is that I don't know how much money that would bring me.

I'm planning on starting to target some high CPC keywords. I know doing that works really well with niche based websites and seo ranking because it basically becomes automated, but I'm wondering if it would work if I write keyword tailored (extremely relevant) articles that bring in a high amount of traffic within the first hours.

I wonder how long it takes for Adsense to analyze your content and place relevant material. I suppose if it's delayed I can always let the articles age a few days and then blast them out, that may actually be a better option as ranking pages is easier when they are older... to some extent.
 
Do you have any other accounts on reddit or you just got voted up organically ?

I have 10 accounts on reddit all on private proxies and virtual machines BUT you do not need all of that to go viral on Reddit. I may have given that post 1 or 2 votes but I can assure you I that I did that for extra security as I always tend to hit the front page on that specific subreddit. If you want to 'rule' reddit, target your posts, time them, and research the activity of competition and you should do just fine.

Well done, that's a good start. Keep pushing forward to earn even more money. Earning the first few dollars are the hardest part, it gets easier from there. Don't worry about making mistakes, you'll learn from them. A lot of it's trial and error, so just go for it!
