Good read, only 2 years late for me but I learned from the past experience
this should be a sticky post since I believe is a good read for all the newbies and not so newbies that only think of adsense
Not agree with the all, but its a good guide for newbies. I have been with adsense for a long time and tried few other things, nothing delivers better than adsense for me.
Your traffic should be coming from visitors who are valuable for the businesses then it can make money. Some of my consistent RPM's are 100$ (some insurance sites goes 300$+ ) not the number of visitors but the quality of them is important.
pass back is an excellent method thank you
You might be right, I am looking @ alternatives, especially for the shopping sites would be better with amazon and other affiliate programs. Informational sites/guides works best on adsense.I see a lot of people, including this forum, who monetize with AdSense only - and that's a big issue, AdSense one of the worst paying networks, and if there's a network that pays less - it doesn't worth to work with as Google buys all traffic.

Also agree on that Adsense is not for the newbies, if you make mistake you may not even see your first payment. I see lots of people got account banned just after they reach the payment threshold.
Thanks! I thought to add more, but it came out pretty long
Google does that because it has too many publishers to support, so they ban for no reason without looking at the case.
It works anywhere where you can put a code.
Nice article. Well, how do i get approve for adsense. Actually, i have been banned already by the network.
Do you recommend on-page or off-page header bidding? And what do you think are the pros, cons.
Also thanks for the awesome guide you always post quality content, keep it up !
