Links Showing In Ahrefs, SEMRush & Moz, But Not Search Console

Hi all,

This is my first thread and question for the forum as it's something that I have been experiencing issues with recently.

Backlinks. I'm building backlinks to one of my sites and according to Ahrefs, Moz & SEMRush, I have a reasonable DA of 22.

However, none of the links show in my Search Console Link Area, is this just delayed or do not all links show here?

P.s I've tried searching the forum for a similar thread but can't find anything that answers the question!

It's so frustrating haha, same with indexing, indexing my own pages seems to take ages

Welcome to BHW.

It is quite delayed, yes so that is one possible reason.

The other is indexing. Maybe they are not indexed and therefore do not show up. 3rd party link checkers can show links that are not indexed by search engines.

Oh I see, so they could show up on tools such as Ahrefs and not in Search Console if they aren't indexed, therefore not having an effect.

How would I change that?

I'm sure that this is just a delay. You can be sure that Google would find every backlink that common and hidden backlink checkers would find.

It's just a matter of time. Google can take longer or be faster than other crawlers like ahrefs or Semrush.

Things take time. Sometimes they don't show for months. How long has it been?

How Do I check backlinks from GSC?

You'll need to get search engines crawlers to your website. Make sure it's index-able and in good standing too.

This can happen passively or you can link to your website from frequently visited sources to speed it up.
