Did you get any feedback, why you accounts were banned?

I mailed them after one account got banned and this was the reply:

"Caroline (Tumblr Support)
We've terminated your Tumblr account at http://*****.tumblr.com/ for spam or affiliate marketing. Per the policies you agreed to when creating your account, Tumblr prohibits such activity.

Guys, I am new in the Tumblr game... Does Tumblr any restrictions - for example max count of following for a day? (Something like Twitter ratio)I want to avoid to get ban...

The second thing - I saw here on BHW Tumblr Bot for auto-following. Could you recommend this bot? Cannot I get ban because of using that?

Do you know if plugrush skims some of the clicks?

Its been 2 and half days since I have created my new blog (my last one with 2000 followers got banned)and my ctr are alot less than what I used to have with the same amount of impresstions! Example, today at 5pm i got 122 page views and 1 click. Same time 2 months I got over 15-20 clicks with the same amount of pageviews!!!! And its the same with every hour of the day! Sucks balls man!

The first few days of my first blog I was getting alot more clicks, I was getting like 10% - 15%, sometimes as much as 20% click through rate. Now I am getting an average of 2.35% after 2 and half days! :( Same traffic as before.

I think this method is getting saturated very fast and tumblr staff are starting to banhammer everyone as these ads are filling thier system. Not blaming any ad network in particular, just dont think tumblr wants anyone to earning from thier website! :(

Great thread by op, and helped out with a few tips and methods just the way i see it from experance.

I put my ads on from plugrush and they were there yesterday, but today they dissapeared. I checked and it still says that they are approved. Any ideas why that happened?

Received the same message. Recreated accounts with no pop-unders or redirecting mobile traffic. Going harder than before - the empire strikes back.

On your other thread method you say to get own custom domains but your screenshot here only shows one custom domain and the other blogs are whatever.tumblr. com. Why is it better to use own domains vs tumblr domain? Why didn't u follow your own advice? :)

the 10 domains are all tumblr I blanked a little bit too much out lol, I'm going to post a big update today about the Tumblr method since the problem of banning I changed some things, but to answer your question get a own domain with own hosting and use the Tumblr accounts to drive traffic to your own domain.

You can post links to the posts on reddit, but not on all boards, take a look around on reddit you sure will find a lot of subreddits

I think the original method is already dead as there's far too many people doing it and tumblr is cracking down.

Dont mean to sound negative but thats the way it is.
 
How about hosting the same site (like Pintastic script) on our own domain and server, and drive traffic to it........? Is this good idea?

or hosting tumblr on our domain? Whis is best one...?
 
Hosting on your server is a far better idea.

Just using your own domian name with tumblr wont do anything when they send the banhammer
 
Just remember that it will be harder to get traffic to your self hosted website. Tumblr is easy to get traffic !
 
I am trying my hand at this and so far so good (no ban hammer yet). It would be cool if anyone has any suggestions on a couple things.
How important is it to reblog?
What are you using to get so many likes or are you doing it manually? I like and follow only good quality and niche related and can only do 30 a day.
How many blogs are you setting up on one IP

made a blog and got about 50 followers without doing anything

happy to get my followers and will be working daily till i make some money
