[Journey] Make money on Tumblr

Subscribed! I had 200 adult blogs on Tumblr and was finally starting to see an increase in earnings and then BAM, they banned all of them. I used multiple private proxies, it didn`t help. Good luck mate, I hope you`ll find a way.

Which email did you use for signup? Let me guess - gmail and the "+" ?
 
Do you feel the adult blogging on Tumblr will become saturated quickly? What other niches do you believe would do well on Tumblr as far as a broad audience goes?

Unfortunately, I just wanna give an update - all 7 of blogs just got the banhammer from tumblr. Just like that. Outta the blue. I actually didn't even get to work on them today.
I used plugrush ads and gmail emails. Kept everything under the daily limits, but still they got me. My sites had no pop-ups or mobile ads either. Hmm...any thoughts anyone?

Tumblr doesn't like Gmail...because of the + trick...sry m8
 
what is the + trick? think if i redo it with hotmails that'd be better? or a different email? I'm bummed because I was up to almost $2 a day and moving, slowly, but steadily.
 
Day 2

Going to add the remaining Plugs so every Tumblr blog is ready for the traffic exchange and liking more posts of other blogs. My blogs posted 400 images now and I am going to pin them at all possible pinboards to gain traffic. Next thing I am searching for Tumblr blogs with big amounts of followers which allow to submit posts. Time for register 10 Twitter accounts to connect them with my 10 Tumblr blogs. Tomorrow I am able to post first traffic and earnings since Plugrush got a delay of 24h.

Summary of Day 2:

-created the remaining Plugs for traffic exchange on Plugrush
-pinning of the 400 posts my Tumblr blogs already posted on various Pinboards (yes this takes some time - but I recommend to use a iMacro)
-sign up of 10 Twitter accounts to connect them with my Tumblr accounts
-liking 200 posts with each of my blogs related to my niche
-searching for Tumblr blogs with big amounts of followers and allow the submit of user posts

hotmail or yahoo works way better in my opinion
 
I`ve just lost my 10 blogs today on tumblr...with lots of followers. I`ve put many hours of work.. Now I have to start it again... :(( I`m angry like hell
 
I've done several Tumblr blogs with various different methods for monetizing but the only one that ever got banned was the one that used plug rush. Just a thought.

interesting..maybe that was one of my problems. anyone else get banned with plugrush? vs juicyads?

Had never issues using Plugrush, I use most of the time both - but maybe other people got other experience this is just mine

thanks for your heads up. i dont wanna take any chances until i have some backup blogs. would you care to share some of your monetizing methods? im trying to come up in this tumblr porn thing and im using juicy ads, image twist and im trying to get the hang of using imacros but im lost lol

Be careful with imagetwist Tumblr doesn't like it very much : /

yeah I will share some monetizing as soon as the Tumblr blogs running the way we can work with them (enough follower,posts amount etc.) tomorrow we going to the fun stuff :)

really? :/ thats my means of income lol so it seems plugrush and juicy ads should be my go to when it comes to monetizing tumblr then huh? i guess it would lighten up some stress trying to develop a macro script to upload pics from IT to tumblr whilst using their respective urls. Well, cant help but to try it..

What I am going to to do now? Liking, following, posting and pining since I have to pin a lot of posts waiting to be pined. I submit some posts of my blogs to other Tumblrs which allow User posts, I'm going to bookmark some posts on reddit and stumbleupon.

Btw: the plugs I submitted are still "pending" so when the traffic exchange of Plugrush will start the next hours I will gain even more traffic - so far easy money with some hours of work, after you setup the Tumblr accounts you can just focus on improving and gaining more traffic, what I like the most, you can see every day instant results of your work so it keeps you motivated.

Day 3 Summary:

-submiting posts to other Tumblr accounts

Nope, I used hotmail accounts bought from a member on this forum. It`s not the emails, mate. Either there`s someone massively reporting his competition or there`s some sort of new spam protection on Tumblr that`s too strict or something.

Yeah, that`s what I was talking about. Don`t give up, maybe you`ll find a way ;) Oh, one more thing, my first 3 blogs (that I ever made - back in June) are still up and running and in the past I`ve used every sort of advertising on them (imagetwist, plugrush, juicy ads, affiliate) and they still haven`t been banned. I think this ban rule only applies to new blogs or something.

I already explained there is a algo on Tumblr I call "trustrank" the more trusted your account is the less like he is banned (age is a big factor)
