It's 2025, RSS is practically a thing of the last century, is it still worth submitting an RSS feed to RSS directories?

Does it help with indexing or bakclinks?

If so, what software/site do you recommend?

Thank you very much

Even though RSS feels outdated, properly structured feeds still have some use in 2025. Google does read XML feeds, and if you ping them via services like Ping-o-Matic, they can trigger crawling for new content.
It’s not a strong backlink play, but it’s still useful to inject a signal for fresh URLs, especially on smaller or new sites. Some setups also combine RSS feed submission with light behavioral signals from mobile proxies to simulate real-time interaction and boost indexing speed.

Submitting RSS feeds can directly help with quicker indexing and fe especially for new content. I usually use tools RSS submit or just manually submitted to the feedspot. It's not a huge boost but it can help a website to get some early visiblity.

Submitting to RSS directories in 2025 is mostly outdated and offers very little SEO or traffic value now. I think it better not to do it.

Really, RSS is still relevant, even though it may seem archaic to bots. While it won't cause your rankings to soar, submitting your RSS feed to directories can aid with quicker indexing and provide you with a few low-quality backlinks. Consider it a component of a larger diversification plan. If you're more interested in quantity than quality, tools like RSS Submit or websites like Feedage and Feedspot still function. Expect no miracles, yet every drip matters in efforts that rely heavily on automation.

Still has some juice for indexing, but don't expect magic. Submitting to RSS aggregators like Feedspot or RSSMix can help bots crawl your links faster. Just use it as a booster, not a core strategy.
