I am looking at forming my own company but am unsure as to legality issues. I'm in the USA so would forming an LLC be the right way to go?
I imagine there are plenty of these here but I just want to try and get some clarification.
I mainly just do child account method for my clients.

Are you resident in the States or on a visa? You can open a LLC but it might be worth someone like @BassTrackerBoats popping in with some advice here hopefully.

Apologies for the wrong sub forum. I am not a resident but soon to be. Though I am going to put it into my wife's name and she is a US citizen.

My main concern was the legality of the service I guess. Maybe that is a noob question but that is where I'm at currently.

An LLC is part of the process to protect yourself in terms of issues but the LLC should be owned by a C-Corp.

I have a bunch of both and all the LLCs are owned by C-Corps.

I've shared I own a bunch of LLCs but should have shared those are owned by C-Corps.

As long as you are legally allowed to work in the US there should be no problems. I have a few and I only have a green card, I’m not a citizen yet. So yes you an form an LLC I should imagine with no problems.
