How smart is Google IRT non-english content?

It can detect low quality spin-content in english, that's why it's used mostly for T2 links.
However let's assume that I have Thai money site with only Thai sites backlinking to it, can I use lower quality content in Thai language there (for example push something that I'd use for T2 to T1 instead)?
Many AI models trained to understand english, are not so good in working with non-english content, so they may classify crap content as legit one.
Does anyone have some experience with it?

I don't know that much about technical stuff, but yes it is easy to rank in other regions. Hope you understand what I am trying to say. ;);)

Is it easy just because of lower competition or because Google for other languages is dumb and thinks that spam is legit content, so you can do seo pretty much like 2000 - that's what I tried to understand.
 
What do you mean with IRT ? the models are based on a probability distribution so there's space for other representations however I never tried testing spin content yet.

IRT = in regard to ;p
I don't know how it works in classification models, but when I worked with models used for content generators made for english, they sucked in other languages (it's not just matter of simple retraining). So I guess Google may not try to detect if text at all makes sense (or is not duplicate), but will just work pretty much just like old search engines (without deep analysis). I assume here that quality of these tools is lower, just like searching in other languages is harder in google (cos their priority is probably english web).
 
Ah I thought some fancy abbreviation thanks, well I think on certain places G doesn’t have much information and basically accept anything that resembles what it already knows. Well to be honest language models are pretty good retaining is not that hard however it's a subject that not easy to learn but their tons of information out their you should check out BERT functionality
 
Yes it is pretty dumb. Some of my spam sites do even outrank the money page sometimes (portuguese language).

I expected to be semi-good at least in latin-based languages and totally suck in f.e. asian languages, it's suprising.

I think its worse in asian languages, you can check that by the quality of their translator which is usually kinda bad with asian.
 
Apart from english what is the language that is the most ranked un Google ?
 
Try the translator, mostly it would be the same algorithms behind both G translator and the content checkers.
I had a run with Arabic (My mother tongue), The G robots are well trained to understand unsurprisingly!
 
it's fine but if your in the country your trying to translate people tend to not trust it
 
Foreign seo is still easy, you can rank it without backlinks. But make sure to post decent content , if bounce rate is high you won't rank .

Yes its a goldmine. Mind you i think thats exactly why links have more weight in other languages. Find some good links and you will be on the right track.

Lol even copied content, in english, there are cases when it ranks. Imagine in other languages.
