hello I recently started a blog, so far I have published 2 posts both contain 4-5 k words per post
it is very exhausting writing posts that long every day
so I want to know how many posts should I publish every month taken that each post contains 4000 words
by which I can get some like 10-20 visitors a day

There is no fix amount you should try and publish as many quality posts you can, you use several seo tools to aid your process the more posts you have more chances of rankings you have

Once a month is fine if you can create outstanding post with 4-5k words per post.

yeah I'm planned in posting very less long articles (2-3) and 7-8 medium word articles like 1000 word articles

It depends on the niche! if each post contains 4000 words than 5 - 10 is enough for new blog!

You should target 1500-2000 words articles. Very few people will actually read articles longer than that so the best ROI is in 1500 words articles.

there's no exact amount that you need to write, but there is a smart way of "writing", and that is....

1) target low competition keywords. These are keywords with zero, or very little monthly searches that don't appear in the title of the websites ranking on first page of google, and there's no authority site on the 1st page, either. Basically, if you find keywords that don't show up in the titles of the websites ranking on 1st page of google, and if those pages also happen to be websites like pinterest, quora, forums, yahoo answers, or unoptimized (mom-and-pop type of) websites in general... you have struck gold. Sure, the traffic you might get from such keywords might be very low (anywhere from 10 to 100 visitors a month) but if you target 5-6 such keywords in each article (which by the way, needs NOT be 4k words long) and you write 1 article per week for 1 year.... your traffic and sales will skyrocket.

2) write 1-2 articles per week for all eternity... or until you get bored, but don't get bored before 1 year passes... or until you make enough money to outsource the writing to someone else, whichever of these 2 comes first

If you do these 2 things properly you don't need 4k words articles (like holy crap, who is going to read all that??), and you also won't get burnt out within a week.

Typically, 1 post per day is enough to bring traffic and it all depends on quality of content. so focus on quality of the posts not so much about quantity. Just writing blog pots is not enough, promotion of your posts is important.

Around 1500 words article once a week is enough, you can add secondary keywords while writing.

I think once per week so it means 3-4per mmonth.
I would focus mainly on LING TAIL keywords

It depends on the contents of the contents, but If the blog has a fresh start then producing quality content every day much be better, once you passed the sandbox's initial stage, then it will be fine even if you write about 1 content a month. That's my blogging rule.

I really comes down to your niche and quality of the posts. Ensure you meet basic SEO in every post. Do you need the posts to be that long?

2-3 posts a week of around 1700-2000 words are fine.

Can you DM, we talk. I can help.

Thanks.

The most important thing is the quality, not the quantity of posts. On the other hand, if you are able to write or outsource 5-10 high-quality articles a day, do so. It will definitely pay off in the long run. The more the better. You never know which post will start generating a lot of traffic. I wrote 1-2 articles a day, I reached 30 and 2 of them do all the work for me, the rest are just fine. Each one was qualitatively very similar.
Focus on those with the long tail.

I'll cut everyone and say, 5 is fine... Don't push yourself more than that if you don't like writing. If however, you can do more, mazel tov!

15 articles, each one +4k as you said will be good. It's better also to hire writers so you can get more articles

When I start a new blog. I like the quickly get around 25 posts done as soon as possible.

For the first the 25 posts I focus on medium competition keywords.

I do this to give my website some substance. Then I slow it down to around 1 or 2 posts per week. For these posts focus on higher competition keywords.

As far as length, for the first 25 posts I do shorter posts. Around 1500 words. For the weekly posts on higher competition keywords, I'll create articles around 3000 words.

If you are feeling like writing is not your thing, you could outsource it. I usually use iwriter. But there are some sellers here on BHW that you could check out.

Consistency is really the key. Decide how much you can write/afford to outsource a month and don't go under that number. Make sure there's a mix of buyer-intent and informative content.
