hi,
I'm planing to host a website that will have a huge traffic (1,5million unique visitors/month 3million page views/month) and between 500-900 visitors on site at the same time
what do suggest please ?

You need your own server, don't go anywhere near shared hosting.

You cannot host such website on shared hosting, you need at least powerful VPS 8 cores + or dedicated server (resource consumption also depends of the platform your website is build upon, wordpress etc...)

I recommend a Dedicated server or a VPS. I changed my host to Google Cloud, they offer you $300 dollars to test. The only catch is that it’s not managed, so you must know basic Linux and managing a server. Google cloud network is the best around, nobody can beat it as they have their own transatlantic pipes. They have many options and the good thing if you feel that the server is not handling, you can scale it with a few clicks, more ram or CPU. I recommend using Nginx, it can handle many more connections then Apache. Ideal setup would be Nginx reverse proxy + Varnish + Apache , that can handle an encredible amount of visitors even with not a big server. If you install centos on your server, I recommend CWP panel, which is free and Allows you to build the config I suggested you above with a single click. If you need help to setup, I can do for you for free, no catch. I was planning on posting a tutorial on the forums on how people can get $300 in credits on google cloud and get them a top notch server for free for a good time.

There are cheap dedicated servers for that at Leaseweb or Hetzner. Then, you don't need to pay for an expensibe web hosting panel. You can use the cheapest version of plesk or a free hosting panel so that you would only pay for the hosting.
About the hosting itself, you need to have a lot of RAM 8GB minimum. 1 enterprise grade SSD or 3 SSD in a RAID 5 to mitigate the stress on 3 ssd rather than one.
a SSD with such a pressure should last 6 years on its own.

If you're on a budget and can wait till cyber monday and black friday, some insane deals on servers and VPS on BF or CM (you have to be quick and stay up late tho). Check out lowendbox and lowendtalk.

I saw an offer on ovh but they offer a brandwith of 1Gbit/s free and another choice of 1gbit/s guaranted... I don't what the deff and if the free one can handle this amount of traffic can you check it with me please ?

ps. the site is on wordpress

1Gbs it is small for a website with a lot of traffic. A good dedicated server offer provides a minimum of 12Tb every month.

You would have to ask the server company the difference. If it is not guaranteed then I question if you're on a private server and not sharing the bandwidth with others.

For that traffic I think you also need a load balancer. It really depends on your website, how it uses the resources.

On google cloud you can get an excellent server for $60-100. I used to have a dedi at ovh but their network sucks.

Dedicated Server is your best option if you are serious - but a high tier VPS with configured Litespeed could possibly do the trick as well if you are shy on the budget.

You should not use a dedicated server. Instead, you should use many small VPS and use a load balancing mechanism. I think Linode is a reputable and high-quality supplier
