My name is TrufflePug. I'm from Ireland, 23 and relatively new to internet marketing.

I've tried my hand at 3 Shopify stores so far (failed at each lol) - Failed at the FB advertising stage, either the products were terrible or I didn't find the right audience with my budget.

So now that I don't have money that I have the luxury to fuck around with, and must keep what I have for everyday shit, I have diverted my plans to learning how to freelance - I have signed up to freelancer.com (my upwork profile got rejected lol) - so currently working on that, creating a freelancing account as a WRITER & TRANSLATOR - Any advice from people further ahead in that particular game would be appreciated - Help send a newbie in the right direction.

Other than that this SEO business seems really intimidating! So I came here to learn a little about that! You have to build a website or blog and then make posts on other blogs with your link, and something about "web 2.0's"? That's all I've gather so far, but I came here to learn more. If you could point me to any resources that would give me an "SEO for dummies" understanding, that would be great - Thanks.

I hope I will settle in to this community and contribute, grow and learn with you. Thanks.

FB/Ecomm is not easy to do. Props for giving it a shot, too bad you couldn't continue due to running out of money. As for free traffic methods, the're slow, and because it's free, just about anyone can do it so you're going to have to put in a lot of work for a small return due to the competition/saturation. If you are really serious about IM, and want quicker money you need to do paid traffic. I recommend getting a proper bankroll before starting paid though.

Curious why your Upwork profile was rejected. Sure you wanna become a writer? :)

I don't know either. Maybe my bio was shitty and I didn't give it a good enough effort. No, I'm not sure - I just want to make money online, I know it's not easy and requires a lot of work and commitment, so I'm just searching for the most suitable method for me to invest in fully as my 'one thing'.

I see. As someone who has been writing for over a decade. I will tell you the money is sporadic at best. Make sure you pick up some other skills as well.
