I'm glad I could help! Mostly, you want to find out where you're gonna make the money from. Which means whether you're going to sell products, ad revenue (ad sense, youtube, amazon ads/products), or CPA.
In the long run as in what makes it profitable?

I use IndexInject as well and the indexers listed in GSA's index panel.

Super noob question, you say you need a Proxy for some of the tools (e.g. Scrapebox), would a VPN work too or would you need a proxy specifically?

Implementing them over time across multiple projects will get you the knowledge & results you desire.
I, personally, have never tried to use a VPN for that. Mostly, I use VPN's to mask my real IP.
So, for software like Scrapebox & GSA SER, you want to buy a VPS. Specifically, one that operates on Windows 2012. Install the software on the VPS. Now, from here, you can either buy private proxies, or scrape proxies with scrapebox's built in proxy scraper.

Makes sense. Luckily I've dealt with VPS's in the past by trying to create my own Plex Home Theatre so setting up a proxy sounds pretty easy.
Just another newbie question. I have started a fairly new affiliate money site and I'm in the midst of testing out different strategies.
I'm assuming since black hat methods are relatively risky, how would you protect your money site when implementing a black hat strategy?
I understand that PBN's have a process in which you cover up your digital footprint and you make sure you're within a certain criteria so you don't get penalised.
But how about for using tools like GSA SER and Scrapebox, for example using a blog commenter to build backlinks?
My initial thoughts are all these black hat methods would be fed towards your PBN to make the sites stronger, and in turn you backlink to your money site.
So as a precaution, if your PBN does get caught, maybe you lose rankings but for the most part your money site will still be ok?

there is lots of discussions going in the seo community that blackhat methods dont work anymore.. google is smart enough to detect the tricks and penalize .. !

Got a newbie question here!
I have a brand new website which is less than 1 month old. When do I better start purchasing backlinks? I do already post UGC links on Quora but it's really scarce. I post about 3 links per week. And Quora links won't give you much of a juice for your webpages to crawl up the ranks. So my question is - how to determine when the time has come to really start getting those sweet-sweet backlinks.
