I have a blog on blogspot which ranks okay on Google, but does not even show up on Bing search results. What can I do to optimise for Bing as well?


I've read around on blogs, and they all say how Bing takes High Domain Authority, on-page optimisation, and diversified anchor texts more seriously than Google. But with the minimum optimisation I've carried out, I should have at least shown up somewhere in the results! I get crappy results on yahoo and duckduckgo as well.

The blog has been around for almost 2 months now.

There isn't a ton of differentiation between optimizing for these two engines. Really they are in close competition with one another so they will be similar in the way they serve users results. You could try submitting your site and sitemap in Bing webmaster tools. That should have some positive impact.

I have read around the web that backlinks and PageRank are less important factors for Bing but that bing does still look at the meta keywords tag (although be careful with that one because they also use it to identify spam sites).
