Google charged 50$ and suspended my account

Hello there,

I created an Ads account with US as billing country. And Google deducted 50$ from my debit card. After that they suspended my account by saying suspicious payment activity.

Is there any chance I will get 50$ back?
Same thing happened with anyone?

(When signing up I saw this: "You will be charged 50$ authorization which will be removed within a week") what it means?

Try to raise a support ticket , explain them its your personal payment method and used for the first time. Sometime accounts come back after we send a detailed message .
 
If they fail to reverse the billing, it means Google wants to turn to a legal scam just as PayPal

Thank for replying. Actually my card is from a different country and I wanted to sign-up for a US ads account to use a coupon code. But still they deducted 50$ from my card. Don't know if they gonna refund or not.
 
If you don't get at within a week, email them. That simple. You will get your money back.

Interesting thing: they replied to me on email saying that we were unable to charge 50$ from your card, contact your bank for help.

But the reality is that 50$ already deducted from my card by Google and bank can't do anything to reverse it.
 
You should appeal your account, have your ID card ready and your credit card statement
 
Something to add - when it comes to threshold accounts topic, I suggest to not proceed when asked for $50 deposit at all..
You are flagged already and will be suspended most of the time anyway. after you will only have little chance to get live via appeal (still there is).

But if it's your own account, or at least you are ready to pay the bills, not just churn and burn, then don't wait for the money to come back, but contact google via all possible ways until you get your account live.
 
Its happening right now with us too , when we are adding funds in accounts its taking more then 2-3 days to reflect in account .

When I had words with google support team they replied that there is a technical glitch in their payment system due to that its taking time .

Might be your card has been charged but its not reflecting in google account.
 
Submit an appeal and chances are your account will be re-activated as "your account got suspended right after you made the payment " In such cases usually you get your account back after appealing.
 
U may got it back but chances are u wont. They have pretty fucked up payment system. Only sure way is to make chargeback from bank. I know people who paid x,xxx and got suspended and waiting for refunds for months without results.

Your first fail is using a card from another country for a USA ads account

This is marked as fraud within the system so

You really cannot appeal this account

secondly ..it's better to play safe by using billing which match country origin

If you are trying to get a threshold account

Look into getting billing from such Countries

Billing is big issues now with google ads and they are cracking down on even real billing ...


See what you probably did

Billing origin was your country

Account origin was your country

Supposed account origin as delivered on system was USA

This can never worked... That's was the main reason you where charged the 50 dollars


You need learn how to do this the proper way
