You can be mad at me all you want, but if registration is free, and you still need someone for confirmation, that's not my problem. You are asking for people to vouch for crypto stability.
Dont think it was me that got mad lool, i dont know if you are able to read but i didnt asked mostly about stability, thats like 10% of what i posted/asked.

And just stated a fact about you, dont mean i am mad, not my problem that you have mental issues tho.

:)

@Fragmaster I think I might try this sometime soon. What does a good introductory post look like? I don't want to fuck up my introductory post, how does someone write a good introductory post in your opinion?

It's quite funny actually, my introduction post earned only $10, because i decided not to share my real identity, and i never regretted this decision. If you want to get good response and earn from that post, this is what others do :

1) make a selfie holding printed paper of steem logo, your username and date. This is something called "verification" in steem slang. You don't have to do it, but people respond better with it.
2) tell short story who you are and where do you come from. This is not a CV, don't write about your business achievements, just mention your country, how you heard steemit is a great place. Again dont mention BHW.

option A ) tell them what they want to hear

I exactly know what they want to hear, they want steem to be praised, believed to be some kind of paradise, where everything is possible. They are anarcho-capitalists, meaning they don't believe in government, taxation, wars, slavery, suppression of individuals.
They do like creativity, art, traveling, passion, uniqueness, real life stories, experience (even mundane every day). They like idealists, altruists, charity, good cause.

They don't like when someone is arrogant, self-centered, paranoid, negative about their platform. You have to understand what biggest investors want (whales) . They want steemit to be better kind of platform, and they support authors who can make a difference.

option B ) honesty

Well you can try that too. For best result, pick anything from option A that you would actually believe.

Mental issues or not, there is one fundamental difference between you and me. I actually try to help people, telling them information, while you are just another parasite with ad hominem arguments.

@Fragmaster Thank you for the honest, and detailed response. I understand the site's userbase much better now, and have a good idea for an intro for sometime in the future.

I looked through the site's different categories a bit, and clicked on the "new" button just to see all the freshly written posts, and a lot of them are long, well written posts but they don't seem to have made much money at all.

Made over $100 on my introductory post after finding out about Steemit on this forum. Not much else action on my other posts but slowly building my follower base. Really enjoying the program. I cant post links as I dont post often but search for @Scott-ZA. On the flipside my fiance has only made like $0.30 with her introductory post.

Same happened to me. The introductory post skyrocketed but then.. only slowly increasing my follower base. I am actually glad that it had happened because some people don't have that 'beginner luck'.

Yeah I feel very lucky. It also gave me the psych to continue posting though. I can imagine how deflating it must be spending a few hours writing a post and making a few cents. The secret is to just enjoy writing content for yourself and if its good enough you will eventually build a follower base.

Thanks for sharing this. It seems fun! since you can share your passion to others. I will try this one :)

Hey guys,
Just got approved and wrote my first post
https://steemit.com/family/@lucozadee/the-world-through-the-eyes-of-a-toddler
Any upvotes would be appreciated and returned. Cheers!
that was first , when did you register

If you are waiting for someone to say you "it's safe" then fuck you. It's not safe. Can you make money? Yes. Do they pay ATM? Yes. Can you lose it all if you choose investment path? Yes. Is there possibility of it being ponzi/bubble? Sure. How are you paid for your actions, out of thin air? Out of investors money. Exit point is when you exchange SBD into BTC, and de facto, investor pays you. Will it crash if it goes mainstream? Either SBD skyrockets, or system crashes. Now stop crying like little bitches stuck in paralysis by analysis.

Great advice bro ,but deadpool is not a good role model .

How Steemit Works:

- A certain amount of "Steem tokens"
are reserved in a pool.
- You post an article
- People upvote you
- The Steem in the pool is spread across posts in proportion. If an article receives more up votes it receives a bigger share of the pool.

Where does the money come from?

Speculators on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Average Joe that buys Steem on poloniex

Steemit doesn't pay you. Steemit doesn't make money.

Steemit is basically a site that uses APIs to show content and allow you to log in.

You can make your own site like Steemit.

Steem is the "software" that controls everything. It's open source.

Finally I got approved by Steemit! Now time to write some freakin' stuff! :D

While i do believe individual posts can be underpayed, i disagree with luck part. There is no LUCK there. If you are consistent, you will be spotted, userbase is small. Nobody said every post will net 300 bucks. Your mentality of caring about payout is slowing you down.
hey bro can you pm me i kinda need your help

Thanks OP for the great opportunity you shared on this forum. Here is my username : @supergist
