yes it is tolerated, but it will likely not receive a high payout like a long written text.

steem power means: the amount of steem currency that you'Re holding in your account.
Let's say you make a steemit post, and your post generates $10.
Part of these $10 go to your curators, the people who upvote you. maybe 1 or 2 $.
another part, around 4-5$ get transferred to your wallet in steem dollars. you can cash it out right away.
and the rest goes to your wallet in steem power, meaning STEEM cryptocurrency.
you can cash that out by "powering down", a process which will let you cashout your steem power in 13 equal parts.

Yes, you have to create a new account on steemit.chat. of course it makes sense to use the same username as on steemit.

please check out my answer above about steem dollar and steem power rewards.
100% power up means that 100% of the rewards from your posts will be converted into steem power.
50% 50%, which is the default setting, means that 50% will be in steem dollars and 50% in steem power.

yes, you can check the current steem dollar price, which is right now just below $2.
So if you get 10 steem dollar for your post, it's actually almost 20 US-Dollar.
But take care that steem dollar and steem is not the same. it's 2 different currencies.
check coinmarketcap.com and search for steem dollar and for steem, you will see the different prices.

you transfer your STEEM coins from steemit to any exchange platform, for example bittrex.
there you exchange it to Bitcoin.
and with bitcoin you can exchange it on many different places in the internet into your local currency, just google it and there will be many results

yes, every upvote gives you $. but the AMOUNT of money varies drastically.
not every vote is equal. it depends on the amount of STEEM currency that you have in your account.
when a newbie upvotes you, he might only add 0.01$ to your post.
but if a steemit user with a lot of steem power (a lot of STEEM holdings) upvotes you, he might add $50 to your post in one click.

you don't need to worry about payment. I've been on steemit for a year and I'm cashing out almost everyday. they DO definitely pay out. you can go to any steemit user, go to their wallet, and whenever you see "transfer to poloniex" or "transfer to bittrex" or "transfer to blocktrades" that means they have cashed out.
(because poloniex, bittrex and blocktrades are exchange platforms. you send your steem their to exchange them for bitcoin)
and no there is no copyright on your articles.

It's only one hour left before I receive my first payout, my second post which earned $16 before grew to $71 a few hours ago. It's a great day to get upvoted, higher earnings.

I think i need some help with this.

It´s been more than a week and this is how much i´ve gone (picture in post)

now, here is my concern:

i´ve been posting on a daily basis with and even engaging with the comunity but my most paid post was $1.47.

Any ideias how i can upscale this?

Start cooperating with other users and exchange upvotes, it will help the post.

So basically go after the big sharks so they can give more value with they´re votes?

Besides searching for the Hot and Trending, where can i start looking for these sharks?

It's all about content and continuity. I had several postings get 0.00 and then I've had some get over 20.00

It's all about networking, some of them put websites in bios, so you can contact them outside steemit.
