As an update, I've fixed some usability concerns and other bugs you've reported to me over the past few days.

As for the Instagram API, if you have a lot of users downloading simultaneously, what happens if you starting getting 429 (too many requests) response?

Tested it. Works great. All files 100KB - 2.5 MB delivered in .zip format. You can download files together or individually, and the website scrapes # of likes, comments, username and caption.

There is already a decent number of DAUs. Working around that issue now and continuing to think about that as it scales. (Keeping that vague intentionally)

Right now there is no way to fetch more than 100 posts at a time to minimize load on the server. Have been trying to figure out a fair way to increase this. How many are you looking to scrape?
I can make this happen, I'll add it to the list. Would you want all the post data (caption, like count, etc) exported to excel for a given collection? Or did you have something else in mind?

Yeah being able to download captions and # of likes on a spreadsheet would be awesome.

I cannot download the data of an account and I also cannot download any kind of pictures it just shows authentication problem

What type of search and what is your error message? I just tried with a regular old Instagram post URL and it worked fine for me.
As mentioned earlier in this reply, I'm going to add in the ability to download all of the post details in an excel sheet.

can you kindly add a feature that we can scrape and download all the user id with the most followers with #hashtag /niche name.
can you add that to the list please , i am asking becouse most apps are shit at it take to long.
so let say i want the top 500 user id with the most follwers from a # hastag / niche scrape .
can that be done , then i can add them users to a bot to follow there followers.

Agreed. There are several downloadable programs available, but they're sketchy, buggy, or just flat out don't work. Keeping it a web app (at least for this functionality) will make it easiest for everyone to stay up to date and also make it easiest for overall usability.Web-based services are the best

Thanks, working hard to make a good user interface. How would you determine something like the top 500 most followed users for a hashtag? If you can explain how you'd compile that list manually, I can potentially build it out programmatically. Let me know.

I have one question, if a user has for example 500 posts and I want to download them all - how do I do it with your tool? If I enter the username 5 times to scrape 100 images, will it always return the same ones (newest 100 the user has posted)?

So right now the limit is 100 of the most recent images. So if you tried it 5 times you would get back the same 100 images. Many people have asked for this to increase so I'm seeing what I can do to make this happen, but reduce server load from giving everyone the ability to download thousands of posts at a time. I will keep you posted.
