* Issue resolved. @blackmint

As a note to all, if you come across any other issues please post here so others know it is a pending issue and then send me a PM with steps to reproduce the issue. I'll get it resolved as soon as possible like I did for this issue.

Thanks.

Issue is resolved.
working properly. I have checked with multiple usernames.

It's very useful, thank you very much.
Would be great if you could increase the download limit a bit.

Thanks a lot @KraftyKyle :D , I will definitely use this for reposting, for features, is possibly to scrape videos/images from a hashtag? that would be cool too. :)

Sure thing, going to increase the limit.

Sure thing, added to the list of features to work on.

Great share man! Thanks for this. Just a suggestion that you can also add the functionality of downloading posts under a common hashtag.

Cheers.

changing the hash of the image so the image can be re used be nice.

works excellent for me..but the ability to download the images by the name of the user (instead of just post1,post2 etc)...would be a massive help and something I would purchase

Currently I have tried only download images via username and it worked well but I wanted to know if instead of "Post-X" can the tool rename the images with the captions?

Others have mentioned these as well. They're on the todo list. ;)

Interesting idea. Others have asked for it with the username, would that work better you think? If not, how many characters from the caption would you want to see in the filename?

Yeah with username or the Hashtag would be a good option.
Everything in the caption. I used to use this tool https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/g...om-any-user-with-caption-as-file-name.857462/ but the creator didnt updated it.
So maybe if that can be added it would be cool feature.

Currently working on adding in the username to the file download. After that, I can make an option for the caption. Windows restricts filenames to 255 characters it looks like so I'd have to trim the filename if the caption was longer, but guessing that's fine with you. Added to the list.

Here's an Instagram Tool that hopefully will be helpful to some. There are a handful of others but they have a ton of ads, don't do anything besides download a post, and can be pretty unreliable.

https://vurku.com has zero ads and also has some extended functionality. I was using it for myself, but have recently decided to make it public. There are a few members here who have already been using it and have been pretty happy with it. Note: I'm currently working on the user interface so expect improvements.

Features (released so far):
* Download an Instagram Post (image or video)
* Download ALL posts by a specific username (currently maxed at 50, but I'm happy increase that if anyone is interested)
* Track downloaded posts
* Shareable collections

* I'm taking suggestions for feature requests & overall improvements so if there's anything you'd like me to add just let me know.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Again, this isn't anything revolutionary, but I figure some more people would appreciate knowing about it. No download required here so you won't have to deal with that, just a web app:

Can you download from IG stories?

Can you download from IG stories?
Right now, Instagram requires you to be logged in to view a user's story. Would need some way to use user credentials which I'd like to stay away from if possible. I can put this at the end of the list to find a workaround for it. Or if you have an idea of how to scrape this, feel free to reach out.

3- If you add install from hashtag or location, then include the IG user or rename the file with IG user who post it instead of "post-0" to "user1" or "@User1"
5- If you could add the caption of the post from:
Type:
Source:
Collected on:

to

Type:
Caption:
Source:
Collected on:

That could be really helpful to know the photographer/owner of the photo fast without clicking the link in "Source"

Again, thanks a lot, very useful

my guy kyle. was one of the first testers of this and i was absolutely happy with the work done, i understand he has updated it more and i have been using this web app a lot. easily the best out there. customer service on point aswell. i feel like i can talk to Kyle not just about the app itself but life in general lol which we have done. great customer service (extremely important) and an amazing app. 10/10 for me. look forward to future updates and anything else Kyle brings out. thank you sir!

Hey @KraftyKyle a useful addition to this tool would be a scraper which scrapes users info like username:user id:full name:following/followers: post count:bio:website:contact details (email or phone number) etc... and extracted to an excel sheet or .txt file... this should be really helpful

Your tool is just awesome.

I have a suggestion to make it even better: You can show 100-200 posts and let users select which ones to download. That'll be easier and if users select less posts, server load will be lesser.

Let me know if you like it.

Thanks!
