Generate website traffic

I have been selling my services for years now without a website but i thought i'd set one up to see if it helped increase business.
Currently designing the site http://realpeterbruce.webs.com
and now thinking how i will generate targeted traffic (people interested in buying my products & services)

Is it possible to get my .webs.com site ranked higher on google for keywords related to my services? (Music production, modelling, adverting. youtube views, facebook fans. ect)

I have recently bought scrapebox... What are my best options?

Spend $2-$10 for a domain and read this forum as much as you can.

Can i just pay webs $19 for a domain? & still use the site im currently designing? Would that work? Or do i have to start again?

You can but, in my personal opinion I would have seperate domain and hosting. Though, if your using webs.com to design then you might want to stick with it.

Just be cautious with ScrapBoxing your company site because, negative comments could hurt your business (from reputation sites).

If you can afford scrapebox then the domain tooo.
First buy the domain .com .org or .net if you think they are costlier(i dont think so) then go for .info
.web domain can be removed anytime.
For hosting Use byethost free hosting..Its awesome,i have used it

Money is not an issue, i just want to start of right.
I plan to spend months / years, working my way up the search engines and building a name for myself.
Its possible to do everything using a website build by webs.com ?

No at webs.com your account can be removed at anytime without any notification.
Imagine if you have built a good repo at webs.com and webs.com bann your site ?
U will loose all thing.
First of all buy a domain name which is easy to remember and build a repo.

Yes buy yourself a domain and hosting. You will not regret it. I can't say the same if you stick with webs. Nothing better than having control of your situation instead of letting someone else decide your destiny

I third that. Buy a domain and learn how to use WordPress. You can then back up your own site, and your host will also back up your site weekly or monthly.

You will also have a small autoresponder and an email address with your domain. It sounds like you are still earlier enough in the game where it won't hurt too much to start over quickly.

Trust me - you will never go back. 6 months from now when you see how much work, time, backlinking and link sharing that you put into your site you will be super thankful.

Not to mention Webs can close up tomorrow and they could give a "F" about you and your little site.

No offense OP but, Are you a fool?. Everybody here is trying to help you.

Everybody is just saying that "spend $10 and buy a domain name". But you? Still going on asking questions to get a crap subdomain name under another domain.

You can't be a brand under another man's umbrella. It is like fckng the bride on the wedding night with someone else's cock.

Buy a .info domain, only $2 or $1 if on sale; and website hosting is not very expensive either. Your own domain will be easier for people to type into the url and you will get all the ad revenue, definitely would be a smart move to get your own site up and running

If Someone cant buy domain and Hosting, i must suggest him to get free co. cc domain and use 000webhost for hosting purposes.

sorry man.. but i have to tell you this. your website is pretty awesome and all your service are great but you have some spelling and grammar issue in your website. it should affect your conversion rate. Focus on that first man before sending some traffic ..

just my 2 cents. and again i love your services on what your offering in your site.

First purchase your own domain in place of free sub domain and design well and content should be keywords based.See you will earning well..
