Hey BHW, I’m starting my IM journey as a freelancer and thought I’d share my progress here.

A bit about me: I handle SEO and content projects as a freelancer, but I’ve realized there’s a big difference between client work and running your own sites. I want to experiment, test strategies, and learn from results in real-time.

My Goals:
  • Grow my own websites and see what actually brings traffic
  • Try different SEO and content methods to understand what works best
  • Share updates, successes, and failures to learn and get advice from the community
My Plan:
  • Pick 1–2 niche projects to focus on
  • Implement on-page SEO, keyword research, and technical improvements
  • Create consistent content and test backlink strategies
  • Track results with Google Analytics/Search Console and tweak strategies based on what works
I hope to share my learning curve here and connect with members who are also experimenting. Any tips, advice, or feedback would be really appreciated as I go along!

Focus on just one project at first, I spread myself too thin and regretted it.
