Hey guys,

I am sure that this discussion has been done multiple times before, so apologies if double posting.

I haven't found a proper matrix table however that compares all these bots.

My main question however is:

Any Advantages of FollowPlanner over GMT2?

I am using FollowPlanner for a while, but due to its pricing model it's not good if you want to scale up massively, as it allows up to 50 accounts. GMT2 on the other hand is 10 per mo and allows unlimited accounts.

So the may question is should I also go for GMT2? And perhaps use FollowPlanner to grow accounts initially and then dump them on GMT2?

Is there any substantial pros/features of FollowPlanner over GMT2? Is GMT2 ban rates higher maybe?

If anyone has used both of them and can share a moment to share thoughts, I'd appreciate it. I also created a poll to see your thoughts. If you vote, please also leave a comment stating why if possible.

i really like GMT2 but... got to enter all source 1 by one thats stupid, and verification one by one stupid as well. everything else love it!

Jarvee, perfect tool no problem only... for warmup is GMT2 better since you can let it change automaticly followers per hour by it self. don't even to touch anything Jarvee you can only change dailly follewers by it self. so with jarvee everyday you have to change a few settings to change the followers per hour but except that great tool love it aswell :)

Followerplanner: idk never used, but can't beat Jarvee i think :)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. For now I'm doing verification manually, and Followplanner doesn't support it so it's fine.

What do you mean that you have to enter source one by one? For F/U hahstags and accounts?

Also, what do you mean change followers automatically?

He meant follow/hour. 1st is Jarvee, 2nd is GMT, 3rd is Follow. The only upside of Followplanner is that its web based, thats all.

it's the same for jarvee bro, you need to enter it one by one, if you use the split setting , it will split like 10 sources per acc and will split the same sources over and over again .

Thanks for all the responses guys!

I can't edit the thread for now, but if possible I'll try to make a table of the basic pros/cons for each IG bot.

I really like it how FollowPlanner is web based indeed, it means that I can easily manage all my bots from phone or anywhere really with just a browser, while RDPing on a VPS could be a bit trickier although possible. It also means that you don't have to pay VPS, but I guess not good enough for scaling up.

Does GMT2 or Jarvee support adding filters to images or customising them further? For now I am using Photo Bulk edit software to alter the images to avoid IG detecting similar images, and also make them look more legit and real.

BTW sorry for double posting, but I cannot edit the previous post.

One thing I don't like with FollowPlanner, is that my bots auto-comment their own posts and of course it looks weird.

What do you mean by this?

We're pushing a huge update this week on FollowPlanner, and I'm sure we could fix something simple like this.

Ive used Jarvee and GMT2 but i see better results with jarvee.

Ayyy is another one of these threads really necessary? If you use the search you'll notice there's a lot of other threads about this.

Though, I've seen better results with Jarvee but GMT2 is better on the pricing and it's much more easier to setup. I think I will go with GMT2 on this one.

Hi IGKing, thanks for the response. What I meant was this my own bot auto-comments on its own posted pictures. This is because I use the same hashtags when posting with the comment hashtag sources.

Another issue I am having is that the {mediaUsername} spintax in the Post Settings, is not appending the @ symbol in front of the username. So I have to do this "@{mediaUsername}". But then when there is no username, there is a stray @ symbol in my captions. Any chance you can fix this shortly?

I've got a list of suggestions as I promised:
  • Make bot to not comment on it own posts.
  • Multi-selection for gallery/media. Deleting 50 posts on profiles is tedious
  • When uploading images, allow applying filters on them, such as grayscale
  • It would be nice if FollowPlanner detected when user uploads/scrapes previously posted images (or similar ones using relating hashing) and warned the user
  • For proxies provide a comments field, so its easier to track them
Overall I am really happy with FollowPlanner, but for someone like me who wants to grow IG accounts slowly and experiment and scale up, the subscription model is a bit limiting. Again I fully understand that this runs on FollowPlanner's servers, but I think if you wanted to beat the competition out there, you could allow more accounts for each plan, and of course not unlimited.

I know it is duplicate, but things are changing a lot and not much information on FollowPlanner. Again any mod please feel free to remove this thread if you feel like it's unnecessary.

Thanks! Yeah, I am thinking to perhaps use GMT2 along with FollowPlanner. So FollowPlanner will be my initial baby IG accounts and when they grow up, they get moved on GMT2 for more automation and dealing with them less.

yes Jarvee is much better since you can split them and you are done in a few minutes. GMT2 takes time nobody has time need to do things quick and go! :)

Sorry for my ignorance, but what do you mean by splitting sources? Thanks!

for example you have 100 accs and 500 sources, you want to add 5 sources per acc, you can't do it in 1 click, you need to do it manually 1 by 1, i asked the developers to make an option like that but they said no one requested it.

Ah ok I see, thanks.

You can do this easily in Followplanner I think. You can have groups for sources, and then you select specific sources per account from a checklist for each group. I find it super easy and efficient myself.

Is FollowPlanner good enough for 1 account just for auto liking? Or does Jarvee like smarter pictures
