Facebook Viral Marketing (Q&A)

Stunning numbers you got there but there is something weird imo..

You have ~350.000 Page Views and only 2 Actions?
Is it because its Video Group?
I am saying this cause I have a pretty [strike]crap[/strike] small page running and here are my numbers:

fbpagestats -.jpg

Could you tell us how you monetize your page?
You only said something about "monetized views"

Monetised with views? Like video views?

I didn't know Facebook had their own monetization thing going on.

monetised for views? how are you doing that?

Because my pages gain a lot of views, I have an MCN who put me up for it. It's not publicly available. Three things are needed to be accepted (but it's never a guarantee) - 1. Tier 1 audiences 2. MCN Deal 3. 30m+ views a month at the very least. Also bare in mind payouts are not amazing at the moment but because of the views I get it balances out. CPM's will be crappy until it goes public IF that even happens. It's been around since July 2015 but has been kept very lowkey.

How do you find these "viral groups" I try hard but its not easy to find groups with good amount members and fairly active. How do you find it?

Try finding keywords related to your niche. It's a long time to find a golden group so if you're expected to find one after 20-30 minutes that won't happen. You'll have to go through as many keywords as possible in the search bar filtered to groups. Frequency of posts in these groups should be over 10 posts an hour. The posts are usually either people sharing other content from pages they like, random questions/quizzies/polls etc.

Congrats on your achievement. I'll be following this thread for getting inspiration and techniques to try on my own pages.

I'd like to know the different types of viral content you use on your sites (quizes, contents, memes etc), best tools to find such content for inspiration. I'd also like to know if you use any automated tools to help your posts go viral.

Because my pages are monetised for views 80% of them post videos only. My editors use Instashot, Final Cut & Premier Pro to create the videos. I do have 2 pages dedicated to just pictures and this is because the fan base is intended in that way and chaging them to videos would see people unliking the page. I don't use any automated tools, even before I had editors everything was manual. I was putting in 4-8hrs of work on Facebook per day. I recommend scheduling all your posts for the day in the morning. If you have other additional/suited pages, then also schedule shares on them that way you can get be getting on with other things.

Thanks for your valuable knowledge you share with the BHW community.

One question. How to overcome those ghosted posts in groups? I spam daily with 10 profiles in 10 groups and I get very low engagement and almost no traffic. Although some of the profiles are 8 years old. What are the best practices for spamming in groups?

What bot would you recommend that is the best for scheduling out page posts and also sharing from those pages onto other pages or profiles?

1) To what do you attribute most of your growth and engagement?
2) How much does having existing pages with followings help new pages you're starting
3) How much can you make off of a page with say, 100k or more followers
4) what are your monetization strategies for doing such

Thank you :)

Awesome stats you have in here. How long did it took you since you started the page to achieve these numbers? What's your estimated budget to get this far?

Thank you. Because my pages are monetised for views my primarily post videos. At times, I will post pictures to roll on engagement when I don't have any new content to put out. I do have 2 pages dedicated to pictures as this is how i always grew them from the beginning. I don't use any automated tools. I do sometimes use Tubular Labs to see what's currently going viral across the net but I don't utilise it as much as I should do.

1. By any chance, have you used Facebook UIDS to target fans?

2. What type of content do you post more often, photos or videos?

3. Have you purchased fake posts likes?

4. Have you used fake accounts to share content to groups? If yes, about how many and how often do you share?

5. I use Facebook ads for page promotion once in a while. I noticed that USA targets are very expensive. Is there any way to get the USA targeted fans at a cheaper rate?

1. No I haven't used Facebook UID's and last time i remember I'm sure Facebook stopped allowing you to use UID's in ads from lists that you had scraped. I wish I had taken advantage of it when it allowed you to but by the time i found out it was too late.

2. I post videos mostly - check my other reply above for more info

3. No I haven't and i don't advise but there are exceptions I guess (i.e some people link to make a page look more authoritative for various reasons but personally - i veer away from it and have never done it)

4. Yes, I always used to make fake accounts of classy/smart looking girls that looked real. As most people will create of a fake profile of a girl that looks like something out of a playboy magazine - i always went the other way and it seemed to be effective in growing the actual profile as well - by the of it some profiles had 5-20k followers, so I'd also share content directly to those timelines and groups as well.

5. USA is Tier 1 so I don't think there is a way around it. I don't use ads at all simply because if you do this, there are times that Facebook will actually limit your reach to get you to pay more into ads - to add, my pages are viral on their own so I don't have a reason to unless something is going super viral and I'll put a small budget such as $10 into it to push it more.

How you grow 1,4 milion page in 10 weeks? I would be happy to grow 200k for same time.

Is it by profile invitation, group posting, s4s. Also is there a way to invite people by id list? Thanks.

I used a range of big music pages as share for share partners, utilised my own network and was only uploading HQ cover songs of records that had been released within the last few days of being uploads. However as said, the page got a lot of IP reports and generally pissed off a lot of record labels therefore was taken down.

I'm kinda late to the party, just wanted to say thanks for the tips.

Well, that's a dream numbers...

How you able to make your fan pages that big?

Any tips for us and tips for people who want to start on facebook.

This is great information.

Do you have any interest in growing pages on other social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram? Is this a thing you've done before - trading shares with people who have big pages on other platforms in exchange for helping them to grow FB pages?

I am currently growing my own Spanish FB viral page, I have recently reached 20k fans, and you are a great inspiration for me. My question is:

I am targeting Spanish speakers in the US through FB ads because adsense RPM in Latin America is really low, however, I could get x8 fans if I advertised in México. Should I switch even though the RPM in México is not even 1/8th of the one I get from the US?

I will be using this thread to answer topics related to viral pages. Most people will probably ask questions that have been already answered in threads elsewhere in this forum so I will only be responding to the best questions that I also feel will give everyone in general more insight in those particular topics.

I'll shoot—

1. If you were starting a new Facebook page from scratch, what's your first 5 moves?

2. Is there any short-term advantage in having working towards a tremendous amount of followers, considering the low amount of organic reach vs. the effectiveness of Facebook dark post targeting?

3. What's the deal with your page actions? Not something you push?

4. What type of financials are you pulling from that page?

Thanks

The constant absorption of magical moonbeams mixed with the radioactive vegetables you consumed earlier have given you the ability to resurrect the dead famous-person of your choice. So which late celebrity will you bring back to life?

Hey I have one qestion about Facebook to you.
How many sites can I merge on fb. There is any limit?

What about if my facebook page (no english language) can get max 100k-200k likes and the posts views about 500-1k is there any money to be made with those stats?
