Facebook advertising - Worth it ????

Dont be st*pid guys... Facebook advertising its much better than adwords. Trust me really... Of corse that you need to know how to setup a good campaign and not only put the ad on. First try using cpc campaign and filter by the persons you want. Like you have a host company, you can try a cpc as 0,25 or 0,3 and then filter for interests as amen, hostfoweb, digitalpoint, warrior...The ad wil only appears to the persons that like that things. Its perfect guys...

I know this guy and he absolutely knows his stuff.

Guys, advertising on Facebook is the same as advertising on any other platform, in that you need to have GOOD ADS!

Strong advertisements are what bring in leads, not just exposure to a link. I normally provide Facebook ads for $3/ad, but I'm offering this service to you BHW members for just $1/ad.

PM me if you want high-quality advertisements that you can send right to Facebook.

PS: If you really wanna rake it in with Facebook, create a game or a quiz.

Facebook is now overtaking Google on traffic and one day it will be number 1.The trouble is that you need to have a good campaign and a good ad with image and the right targeted market. You need to send them to a squeeze page then send them to a one time offer or cpa.I heard about a very successful fb advertiser by the name of Jonathan Budd just google him and you will see he has a new product on fb advertising.I searched around for it on BHW but couldnt find it, any ideas or could someone please request it here. I cant as i need 50 posts.

Facebook is simply MUCH BETTER In advertising, Google Adsense has become much worse, more time to review etc, Facebook review is under 12 hours at average, they are really speedy and traffic is really fast and great.

If I had to chose 1,000 USD Facebook or ADWords credit, I'd go for Facebook, it's very easy to understand, easy to set up.

Sorry, I can't PM yet, so I can only reply here.

What I offer is copy to be used for right-side Facebook ads. The reason I don't just post the ads myself is because I don't have enough money to fund an ad campaign. I've written plenty of great ads for people in the past, so that's something I know I'm good at. But before I can truly capitalize on that, I have to work on small-scale monetization of my skills (though I'd be happy to JV with any interested parties :D).

As far as the "creating a game or quiz" option on Facebook. Let's take a look at the MobWars model.

You set up an account on this game. Then, as you play the game, you notice this one special type of currency (in this case, Godfather points). Godfather points give you access to a whole wealth of things to make you more powerful in the game, and thus enrich your gaming experience. How does one get these points? Well, you can get them by playing the game for a long time- or you can take a shortcut, and fill out some offers to get those points (or sometimes just buy them directly).

That's where you make the money. After you have people using your game, set up a ton of affiliate programs, and present them to the game users. The offers where you recieve perhaps a $30 commission will pay several hundred Godfather points, whereas simply opting-in to a mailing list nets you only a few points.

All you need is someone familiar with the Facebook API and a good graphic artist to get yourself going on a game. Just pick a genre and go.

Quizzes are a little more like standard marketing. You create a quiz, pay a certain amount for Facebook to host it, and make money whenever someone clicks the ads surrounding your quiz. These are much easier to get started, since usually all you have to do is (if it's an interesting quiz) get one person to take it, or take it yourself. Then it'll show up in other peoples' newsfeeds, and it's viral from there. You can even buy a Facebook ad for your quiz/game to get it viral faster.

Well i must say FB ads not worth at all dont use them try to build fans yourself !

i'd say FB advertising is pretty tricky thing, but it actually CAN bring you some serious revenue. once again, good targeting will bring you leads and money. though I'm not ready to try it for now :)

I am about to try facebook ads for the first time. It seems like you know what you are doing, so is there any way you can help me find a voucher for free advertising credits to get started ?
I appreciate any help i can get :)

Haven't tried this out, but hopefully it helps someone. Apparently for thirteen dollars you can get a fifty dollar fb ads voucher. Just search adcouponcode on google.

There are so much into it by just buying vouchers and using them :)

Facebook ads is different to google adwords and proofed adwords strategy don't work on facebook.

The most important thing is a good picture, a good headline and a good text that your ad get many attention. Your CTR should be above 0.1%, its not easy but its very important! When u have a good ad, then your click price will be low and you get cheap traffic to your website. The best results you get when you have a facebook fanpage and you buy ads for your fanpage.
Facebook ads with fanpage as target are cheaper then external targets. U should made some posts on your fanpage with an link to your website and made ads for this post, thats really cheap and you get facebook likes for your post and visitor to your page.
I had the best results with this method.

I have tried the whole advertising thing with fb pages and my results were average. I think I spent a little over 150 on ads targeted and I found that people liked the page and immediately unliked it with in a few seconds of liking which wasnt making much sense...
It seems like a waste of money and you have to keep up on advertising to make it stick and you end up spending a lot of money and you can get minimal return.

Woow... how many threads are open with the same question? lol
I believe it depends how expensive are your products or services. If you cheap for hundreds of dollars go with AdWords, if you sell cheap go with Facebook, but use it smart!

ever since I keep my wife telling: Facebook = Fakebook = Hatebook ;)

I probably created for some guy's a new Niche!! lol go ahead share it with 1 Billion potential users
