Do you build topic clusters before publishing content ?

topic clusters first before i even purchase the domain and start keyword research to see if worth it or not.
i start with interlinking after i published all content for a topic cluster

I prefer planning the main topic clusters and basic internal linking structure before publishing It makes the site easier to organize while still leaving room to add and adjust links as the content grows.

i usually just map out the main hub pages first so i dont get lost, but doing deep internal link planning before publishing is kinda a waste of time. half the posts you write won't even rank or get traffic anyway. better to push the content out, see what starts getting impressions in search console, and then build heavy internal links pointing to the winners from the supporting posts. saves a lot of manual work.
Yes you see it, the old way of internal link building is a waste of time , but as I said there is a much better method......

I prefer planning the main cluster structure before publishing then adjusting internal links as the site grows.

I go crazy planning it all beforehand, much easier that way, and more effective for SEO.

Remember, you can noindex the catagories until enough content branching from it, but still use the slug

Every time I winged it and built my internal links after the fact, I ended up lost in my own maze, trying to remember which page connects where. A rough plan upfront saves me from spinning my wheels later, even if I have to tweak things down the line. Especially once a site grows past a dozen posts, having clusters mapped out takes so much guesswork off my plate.

Hi everyone,

Do you plan topic clusters and internal links before publishing content or do you organize them later as the blog grows ?
i always start by mapping the central topic as well as all the supporting pages that i may think of. it is much easier than making 30 random links when the pages are published.
