Like probably 73729101 people thatve posted in freelancers, I need someone to help (i.e. do most of the heavy lifting on the code) with creating completely up to date scripts that can be used to purchase limited edition items, and am particularly interested in coming up with something that can cut through the carnage on a site that’s buckling under heavy traffic and come out the other side successfully. I know exactly what sites I’m focused on, and I know the details concerning bot protection/stock numbers/scheduling/payment options etc intimately: my problem is that I’m still not where I need to be in terms of coding ability.
I have already had a run of uncommon financial success and am in my late 20’s, finishing off a sabbatical with an eye on the next project. I say this because it’s relevant in a couple of ways: I’m not some snot nosed kid that wants to clout chase and “make a sneaker bot,” and I have mid six figures worth of capital ready to disburse on the right idea and the right dev(s). Starting with the scripts is useful because I need the scripts, but also because the process allows me to get to know the people that I pay to write them. My real objective is to find the right devs to actually work with on creating an absolute monster piece of software used to secure limited items, with a clean GUI (and it wouldn’t hurt to incorporate a unique function or two of some kind). I have the financial resources and the social capital to make everyone involved extremely large sums, and to do it quickly. Given the right product to bring to market I could clear $400-500,000 in sales within 2 weeks. 100%. Profit sharing on top of generous initial compensation included. I’ve been setting up interviews with guys from Akamai and Demandware, but the thought struck me that I may just find someone equally talented but better suited for the project right here.
TLDR: start with a few scripts for good money, once that works out ok I make a godfather offer to lock services down for the foreseeable future. If you’re a scammer or think you’ll be able to finesse this save us both the time, I’ve been around and it won’t work out and it’ll just piss both of us off because I’ll know immediately etc etc, I can code just not extremely well and that’s the only part of this where I have any shortage of skills.
