I've been diligently working on my DR score and backlink referencing domains, but for six months, I haven't generated any organic keywords or organic traffic. A rising DR means increased authority, so why aren't any keywords being generated? I've diligently targeted my target keywords with anchor text.

There’s definitely a correlation between DR and organic keywords because stronger backlink profiles usually help sites rank for more terms, but it’s not a direct cause since content quality and topical relevance still matter a lot. You’ll often see high-DR sites with tons of keywords simply because authority helps pages get indexed and trusted faster.

When you say index, are you referring to an index of backlink addresses or an index of posts on the original site?

I've found that higher DR scores for organic keywords often help boost rankings for competitive keywords by establishing stronger domain authority.

DR going up doesn’t guarantee rankings, if the content isn’t strong or doesn’t match search intent, keywords won’t move.

Links help, but pages still need solid content and internal links to rank.

Your sceenshot is a beautiful example for the value of DR - ZERO.

Could you elaborate on what you mean?
DR is just a metric calculated by ahrefs and based on the backlinks. It is not relevant to Google at all nor is it correlated to rankings in general. DR can be easily manipulated just by increasing the backlinks to a site, no matter if these are active or dead.
