So, from what I gather from everybody's responses, the safest and best thing to do would be to use entirely different backlinks that don't exist on my first site.
No. As it turns out, links from the same website have diminishing returns.
You can use them without any problems,
I bet if anyone could actually prove the opposite,
These are just random assumptions thrown in here,
Having the websites under the same GSC and analytics won't cause a problem neither,
The only downside here is that you'll be adding more OBL to the already built links making them less effective for the first site especially
I think its better to not do this with a new site...My second site isn't a subdomain, and I'm not interlinking between both of my sites.

Clearly from your messages, the best thing to do here is "not" to use the same backlinks across the sites.
However, since I do "HARO links" for all my sites, on a few occasions, the outreacher acquires backlinks from the same domains for two of my sites.
Can that be a problem too?
