I used to get a lot of website traffic from multiple strategies main using Black Hat strategies. Other strategies I used in past like link building, on-page seo, social media, paid ads but recently traffic start dropping for no reason. I research on web and found few more strategies and find one intresting article from Hostinger with new/old strategies (some I already worked in) and I work on all of them to test if that really work.
Here are the strategies followed from recommendations and my results after work during days on them.
Article: 20 Best Ways to Drive Website Traffic ( https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/drive-traffic-to-your-website )
1) Optimize Your Website for Search Engines -- It works but the traffic don't increase significantly (only 20%)
2) Start Email Marketing Campaigns - It already works but my list isn't big so results are poor. (only 1 sale each 3 days)
3) Post on Social Media Regularly - It doesn't work when you have a small follower base so nobody will see your posts, so you got just residual website clicks ocasionaly.
4) Write Quality Content - It barely works and when website traffic increases you only push tier 3 traffic (3rd world countries audience that don't have money to purchase your products/services) (People are poor there!) Tier 1 countries like United States it's extremely difficult to attract to a website and read your posts!
5) Make Your Site Mobile-friendly - It can be useful sometimes but it will not increase much your website traffic.
6) Audit Outdated Content - Useless tip!
7) Implement an Affiliate Program - It works when you have a solid and big audience!
8) Perform External Link-building - The only useful tip!
9) Link Internally - Useless tip. It doesn't increase much the website traffic.
10 ) Speed up Your Site - It helps a little bit but nothing special.
11)) Display Facebook Ads - Expensive and useless. Most of campaigns end up in loss!
12) Create a YouTube Channel - Its a useless tip because if you have no subscribers/low number of subscribers you barely got videos views so nobody will watch your videos - Useless strategy!
13) Advertise on Instagram - Same as Facebook ads! Useless and crappy plstform!
14) Try Out Influencer Marketing - Useless as hell. even when its for a target audience related to your niche, find buyers its extremely hard and you must be lucky to get people to buy something.
15) Display QR Codes - Totally useless!
16) Use LinkedIn - Useless and a waste of time. people are too posh and they almost no buy nothing. LinkedIn users are cheap and have a crappy mentality.
17) Publish Guest Posts - It depends but may work a little bit if you post like more than 30 guest posts in big sites.
18) Conduct Webinars - it can works if you have a quality audience already.
19) Join Online Communities- useless tip. people usually are cheap or Tier 3 low quality humans.
20) Publish Content on Medium - Totally useless and waste of time!
