I'm implementing linkwheels to promote Clickbank products with Web 2.0 properties and I'm also throwing in a few blogger blogs and wordpress blogs. Since blogger and wordpress will let you monetize your sites, would it be a good idea to throw in some adsense on those pages just to get the extra income. Potentially, after a while, after doing multiple linkwheels, you might make a nice chunk of money from adsense ads if those blogs got indexed and ranked.
Do any of you guys do this successfully, or is this throwing up a red flag to Google and hurting me in the long run by letting Google know that the same person is putting up all these blogs? Keep in mind that I don't just put up spammy looking blogs; These are blogs with quality content and a few pages, including About Me, Contact Us, etc.

I'd like to know this too. Also - Anyone got any experience with testing Clickbank and Adsense?

Does clickbank convert better without adsense or is there not much difference?

What about using another ad company, (i.e. AdBrite) then you could get the additional income and have to worry about Google? :)

You might want to read through this thread by doug.

He discussed how he used Adsense along with CPA offers on his websites.

Theoretically, you shouldn't use any 3rd party ads to divert their attention instead of trying to get them to your money site.

But I'm sure that if a visitor is not interested to click on the clickbank banner above the fold of the website might be interested in clicking other ads that he is more interested in, right at the bottom of the website.

I know your concern is on whether Google can see through your intention if you link all your web properties in the link wheels with your adsense. No one can 100% answer your question. Why not create a few linkwheels with adsense and a few without? Your best bet is to get your feet wet and try it yourself. Should there be any mishap, you can always create a better linkwheel and a new adsense account :).

Thanks for the input guys! I'm leaning toward leaving the adsense off, because I don't really want to trade possible affiliate sales for pennies that I would make off of adsense.
