Looking for advice on service to buy in the UK for google places.

I got the dreaded unnatural links email on a site..... It had about 1K links from exchanges on linkmarket looking for some advice. 1) Should I stop using now? 2) Should I delete all the links I added on my site (this should mean that links to my site will be deleted)?
