Scrapebox some easy questions

Hopefully somone can answer these before I finally buy:-

1) Do i need a seperate PC for this software?
2) Are private proxies a must?

1) No, but check the system requirements if in doubt.
2) For scraping, no. For posting, you will get much better results with them, so I consider them a must.
 
1) No need to use separate pc. In case you want higher performance, use vps. But if your have very high speed internet, no need vps.

2) A must for posting comments. That will be better for commenting features. But for scraping, use public proxies. I scraping up to 300k urls per day using only public proxies.

I recommend a VPS, mine is 6 times faster than my laptop.
 
Scrapebox works fine on a decent home pc with a fast internet connection.

Privat proxies are a must have if you want to post comments. Public proxies are too slow and too unstable for posting.
 
2 Important things I have learned about using Scrapebox on a pc:

1. Get as big a list of public proxies as you can ~ 1000 public proxies. I set my proxy filter at 10ms - the max. Post to your AA list. Filter out the successful posts. Then get a new set of proxies and and repost to the failed sites. I keep submitting to the failed sites until I get less than 100 successful posts. I usually wind up with at least 1% confirmed backlinks out of a 50K AA list.

2. Don't try to post to a list of 1 million AA blogs, your public proxies will burn out before you can finish the list, and your SB may freeze up. Break it down into smaller chunks. I prefer 50K lists.
 
I totally agree that private proxies are a must for commenting. I always get trouble with public proxies. And most of my comments were flagged spam :(.
 
Depending on what kind of internet you have and how heavily you will be using SB, a VPS with unmetered bandwidth may be required. I blow through 30 gigs a day and I know that would raise some flags for many isp's
 
1. No. But it can hog your CPU resources depending on how slow your computer is.
2. I use private proxies for both scraping and posting. Public proxies suck for my purposes :)
 
you can use scrape box on your own computer, no need of VPS if you don't want to use it 24/24

as for proxies, yes they are recommended....i pay 30$/month for mine, and i use 20 proxies
 
Tell us what do you want to do with scrapebox. But if you want fast speed and good results in your blasting campaings, YES for both questions.

Had some decent results and now want to blast some of the articles that I have indexed. Can you also blast your twitter/facebook accounts with no penalty or should I be blasting other links. I know not to blast my main site
