It is a good thing that you decided to share with us the good post. I have gone through it and i do think it is very valuable. When you get to bookmark something for further reading, then it proves the worth or concern that you have with the document. I am hoping that when it can be implemented by me, then the results will be remarkable.

Glad to see the progress you have made. I just wanted to comment a bit about the gaming channel.

Keep in mind that the gaming niche is VERY, VERY, VERY over-saturated. One thing that happens because of this is that your content gets buried underneath all the other videos people/kids are making. This is why gaming content always takes longer to gain traction on. Just keep this in mind moving forward for the gaming channel. Your videos could be the best in the world, but until your videos get past all the crappy videos they won't get much traction.

Yes, this is true. I dislike having to "spam" but in gaming it's a must at first, at least with a channel like mine where I have to kickstart it and moneywhore

Report #39 Haven't even noticed it's 2am, woops. Pulling an all nighter since tonight's the night ladies and gentleman. Infinite Warfare came out and even though I could care less about the game, it means youtube monayyyyy for any good uploads

But in other news, we have very good news. Oh, very, very good news. If you look right now on r/videos, you'll see that one of my videos is on the frontpage and should be there for the next couple of hours at least. Hopefully it does the full 24 hour cycle

I finally released my special video. Currently, I think it got around 80K views. YEP! 80 FRICKIN THOUSAND VIEWS! Realtime's saying 78K but that's not including the extra few hours it was out earlier as well.

Realtime: 88,000 views. Subs: 2,126. Total views: 251,322. (which btw, we beat a little goal of 250K! woot. And also past 2K) Today was epic.. and hopefully I'll be able to promote the video even more.

I'd like for it to get 1M views hopefully within the next 29 days or so. Next step is to promote on a few more subreddits (I've done half) and then send it to popular youtubers through twitter and FB who might like it (might as well give it a shot, who knows?). Overall, very positive reception of the video. Excited to do more!

As person who uses red arrows in his call of duty videos I can say that this definitely helps. Also "minor" click bait is good, for example when Call of Duty previously said that the snipers in iw were only going to 1 hit kill if they were head shots and then later tweeted about a sniper that could one hit kill only at chest and above, I made a video titled something like "THEY LIED!?" with the thumbnail having a red arrow pointing to their tweet (which I made sure that you could barely read in the thumbnail so they had to click on the vid). Haven't really tried any major clickbait videos since I'm scared my audience might get a bit salty.

Yeah I was recently proud of some of my own thumbnails as I'm getting better with photoshop, but lol the red arrows was definitely a part of it haha.Clickbait's only bad when the content in the thumbnail just is misleading completely

Report #40 I went to sleep last night at 11pm and got a couple of hours of sleep overall throughout the past 72 hours. Feel fully awake but man, it's good to get stuff done. I've been promoting and responding to a bunch of comments, and the thing is I'm super backlogged on everything. But the more you respond and engage with people, the more your video and channel get subs and move up to the top

Realtime: 120,000+ in the past 48 hours (it's beginning to fall down now, I think at max peak it might've been 130-131K), 2,242 subs, total views 337,905.

Unfortunately my main video got demonetized after just a few thousand views and I didn't notice till a whole day later. But finally it's got its monetization back up and enabled after I emailed support. Even with monetization disabled, I hit on analytics my biggest day yet with nearly $8 (only like $2.40 or something like that came out of the video). It's dying down now a bit but my promoting's still not finished. Next up is to get this video to 1M views and keep pumping out content. Posting every 2 days I think is much more relaxing for the new subs and I'm quite excited for where we're going

I've got ideas already for the next big video, but I think it'll cost quite a bit more. It's been hectic over the past couple of days, and traffic's been dying down a little bit. That's not a worry though as we'll fix that pretty soon I can't fully focus on my channel right now though just because a LOT has hit me all at once, both with my personal life and the gaming channel and other things. But once we've got all that out of the way, we'll be good. I think we're approaching a point here pretty soon where I'm going to need to start investing a lot more money into this to reach the goal. We're not doing too bad, but definitely have to reach 5K and 10K asap here. Exponential growth will be necessary in order to hit the goal.

Report #42 Oh how glorious of a day it was after the election! I'm actually considering starting a conservative channel next year (I wouldn't be hosting it, I mean I might make some guest appearances.. but I'd hire others). It'd be a little bit different though.. I mean I do have some extremely liberal ideas, but for the most part I come from a conservative background. And this year, as much as I'd like to deny it.. I've been heavily involved with the political cycle. I do want to voice my political thoughts, but on my personal channel that'd be a horrible move.

I am posting a slightly political video though in less than 12 hours, and expect some sub loss but maybe a few nice gains here and there.. but oh well. Overall quite happy with where my channel currently is. Nearly hitting another goal marker! Subs: 2,435 Total views: 415,313 Realtime views: 11,000

I will be doing a few more reddit posts tonight, because I tried last night and did pretty well but should've obviously waited till after the election lol.. Reddit was swamped and my posts were gone.

Report #43 Alright, we're 7 past our goal of 2,500! Now onto the next one of 5,000! Total views is 420,379 and realtime 9,200+!

I've begun looking for 4K quality footage for my next big video. I'm rather embarrassed by the quality of my most viewed video now looking back at it, but oh well, you live and you learn. The editing was good just.. it doesn't show up anywhere close to where I'd like it to be. Now with 4K quality footage to work with, I think the next video seriously has a chance of getting to 1M views in less than 30 days. This current one could.. but I think it's probably going to hit 250K instead or somewhere around there. I just don't feel like promoting it heavily since I'd like to focus my funds and efforts on something better.

I've also gone ahead and started my conservative channel, but that's on the down low for now. I'm not quite sure exactly which way I'd like to take it. For right now it's more entertainment but hey.. 7 subscribers in

I am deleting a video which failed (only uploaded halfway and I realized 2 hours later after it got 62 views) as I don't want it to screw up my stats. I'm down at 140 videos and so far my latest upload is going to surpass 5,000 views

I've been promoting pretty heavily on reddit and am only halfway done. I'm super excited about the next couple of videos to come out. I think we can easily get to 3K, 4K, 5K, etc.

Tomorrow I decided to post my giveaway video finally, sot hat could help a tiny bit (although not expecting much from it). So far so good.

I've been a little delayed on getting the footage made for the next replication video, but I'm sure it can still be released maybe within the next 2 weeks

So far progress is looking nice, but unfortunately I'm running low on money. I've had issues with some of the other things in my life and I was kind of hoping to have a few thousand ready to invest over these next 6 weeks to get to the 100K. So... I've started looking for some extra jobs to make more money. I don't give up quite so easily lol. I'm also looking into ways to monetize my channel other than adsense (but still not Patreon and selling products/services, as it's too early for that). Adsense money is just not cutting it, but I need to hit the sweet spot as I also don't want to sell out and ruin engagement for my channel.

Report #46 2,792 subscribers, 462,440 total views and 9,900+ realtime views. I was just playing around with editing some audio and I'm getting really excited as I just figured out how to improve quality for the next set of videos (not vlogs, but some other ideas I had). Every small improvement of quality adds up and I decided to release another "big" video that I'll promote on Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I know thanksgiving isn't the best time to promote, but right before could be the perfect time. I'm taking into account everything from Tuesdays being the lightest days to right before the holidays so everyone's off from school to monitoring the traffic of Reddit. I know it's not actually "perfect" but it's close enough haha. I also have to follow my new upload every 2 day schedule sooo..

But so far, so good. I'm getting really excited here to release more big videos.
